My wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Mezcaleria Alma and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. We sat at the chef’s counter, which made the evening feel energetic and engaging rather than traditionally intimate, and we loved being right in the middle of the action watching dishes come together. The food was exceptional across the board, beautifully executed, layered with flavor, and paced perfectly throughout the meal. Chef Fish took wonderful care of us all night, guiding us through the menu with spot on recommendations and explaining each course in a way that made the experience feel special and personal. Service from the entire team was warm, professional, and genuinely hospitable; everyone seemed invested in making sure we had a great anniversary. While this isn’t a quiet, tucked away kind of date spot, it’s an incredible place if you want memorable food, thoughtful guidance from the kitchen, and a lively atmosphere for a celebration. We’re already talking about when we can come back.

It was our first time dining at Tavernetta. We loved it in so many different ways. The quality of the food, drink and service was consistently excellent. We really enjoyed the decor and ambience of the dining room and open kitchen. And all of the staff were cheerful and friendly. We’ll be back soon.

This place is a hidden gem in the local neighborhood it represents. I LOVE Scottish breakfast dishes and their oatmeal pancakes are right on point. Could they publish the recipe for that dish?
