Dining at The Old Inn on the Green is an extraordinary experience: fine wine, great food, attentive, knowledgeable service and the dining rooms illuminated only by candle light. Chef and Owner Peter Platt, along with his team, work to create innovative and memorable meals that are an event unto themselves. Currently, we are offering a $95 prix fixe menu with 5-6 choices per course every night we are open. The hours for dinner are Wednesday through Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm for both indoors and in an all new screened outdoor room. The wine list is graced with an array of thoughtfully selected estate bottled wines from France, California, Italy and around the world.     My wife has dietary restrictions, and the chef and waiter were fabulous in accommodating her dietary restrictions. The chef customized her dishes to make her meal not only safe for her health, but wonderfully tasty, interesting and beautifully presented.  Also, my meal was excellent. However, we only gave the experience 4 stars overall because of the rudeness and impatience exhibited by the manager in dealing with my wife’s dietary restrictions.

    This was the first time we have eaten there since they moved to the new location further down Route 44. It was a very vibrant experience with many diners arriving steadily. The food and service was excellent as always. We both had the grilled branzino and it was fabulous.

    All around a 10 out of 10. Great food great service! I recommend getting the lamb, the wings and the strip steak. Have not had as good of a meal and a really long time.
