More Than Great Food...It's been a crazy ride since our launch in 2017. We've lost count of the amount of pizzas we've served, but if we were to hazard a guess - it would be close to the number of smiles we've seen from our customers upon that first bite of a Sal's slice. ​We've been so proud to build a place that's known by locals and visitors alike as the go-to pizza place in town. Anyone and everyone is welcome!

The present day building dates from around the 1880s and the bricks for the hotel were made on site from clay on the property.

Sam Miranda had a visionary plan for his ‘Field to Fork’ Produce Garden which was inspired by his childhood. He wanted to not only produce premium varietal wine but also bring a touch of home to the winery restaurant. Remembering back when he handpicked vegetables with his father, Pop Miranda and helped make fresh mouthwatering traditional Italian dishes. Sam has created a holistic sustainable produce garden, including herbs and fruit trees which he has integrated with local resources, such as irrigation water which comes from our local King River to assist with producing the best harvest for the restaurant.

    Birthday lunch with a close friend and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was perfect - had a grazing platter and enjoyed a long leisurely lunch with a glass (or two) of wine. Great way to spend an afternoon.

    ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Sal's Pizzeria The pizzas were fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked with a great balance of toppings and a beautiful crispy base. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. It’s such a great local spot with a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for a casual night out or takeaway. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, delicious pizza. Will definitely be back!
