- JjoanNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined todayBeautiful decor and setting. A bit of Paris. Wonderful service from Mamadou. My friend who has spent time in France felt as if she were there. Very generous mushroom/gruyère omelet. Terrific onion soup which we shared. Had nice Sancerre and mocktail. Moochi dessert terrific. I’ll recommend it for breakfast meetings when execs come to town and will be back for lunches and dinner. Background music calming and laid back, Frenchy mood tunes just loud enough to mute voices from other tables. Amazing acoustics, and my friend and I are at the age where ambient noise can be a problem, but we had no problem. We were able to escape this crazy world for a few hours. - RRichardvipNew York City •42 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA wonderful trio of excellent food, service, and ambience. We decided to try Il Gattopardo, having a show nearby at 7. From the artichoke pate, to our main courses, veal chop and pasta dish, and finally the pistachio mousse, the meal was fabulous. Excellent bread basket. Great, yet not hovering service. The staff was very knowledgable about the menu. My ONLY criticism was the asking too many times whether we would like a glass of wine (after cocktails). To be clear, the restaurant had exorbitant prices, $70 for my veal chop, and $30 for my Old Fashioned. It is NYC. But as they say, you get what you pay for: usually. And in this case Il Gattopardo delivered. Absolutely go there, but be prepared to pay about $150/pp, including drink, app, main, and dessert, minimum.More infoIl GattopardoPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Midtown West•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOutstanding Experience at Quality Bistro! From the moment you step into Quality Bistro, you are greeted with a warm, professional welcome that sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The staff’s attention to detail is impeccable, making you feel truly valued as a guest. The atmosphere is inviting, and every interaction is filled with genuine hospitality. One of the standout features is the incredible sourdough bread. It’s easily the best I’ve had—perfectly crusty on the outside with a soft, flavorful interior. Every dish I’ve tried here has been executed to perfection, showcasing a commitment to quality and taste that keeps me coming back. I brought friends who are visiting NY and the loved the experience and outstanding hoapitality. Quality Bistro is a gem that never disappoints. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!More infoQuality BistroPrice: Expensive• American• Midtown West•4.7
- SScottvipDenver / Colorado •19 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe found Estiatorio Milos online after attending a Broadway Show (Wicked) which didn't wrap up until almost 10 pm. We wanted a "nice" restaurant but finding something open late was difficult. We also wanted something within walking distance of the Gershwin Theatre where Wicked plays. We quickly booked on OpenTable and found it an easy walk (about 5-7 min) from the theater. When we arrived, we knew the kitchen would be closing so we asked the waitress how much time we had - she was extremely helpful and polite and made sure we got our order in with no issues. We ordered a dozen of the oysters (she recommend two different types but I dont remember which ones) ... we also ordered an EXCELLENT WHITE WINE from Italy that was semi-sweet but not super-sweet. After the oysters, we added a crab cake that was AMAZING - plump and full of crab meat but also full of exquisite flavor. Our main entree was the "jumbo shrimp" and I can honestly say I have NEVER seen shrimp (not prawns) as big as these. They were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. My only regret is that we ordered a dozen instead of 1/2 dozen and couldn't really take the leftovers with us. Finally for desert we selected the cheesecake - it was excellent but would have been better with some fresh berries or caramel. All in all this was an EXCELLENT FIND and we will be back in the future the next time we visit NYC!!More infoEstiatorio Milos – Midtown New YorkPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Midtown West•4.8
