Restaurants near Navy Pier

This was my second visit to Tre Dita and it was incredible. I made a mistake with the time of the reservation and the staff was so accommodating. We sat in the bar area and even though the table was small, we ordered quite a bit of food, we all really enjoyed sitting in that area. In fact we may only sit the in the bar area from now on. Paula was our sever and we can not say enough fabulous things about her. She was a delight. Thank you a wonderful dinner celebrating a 50th birthday!

Maitre D sat us at a table by the window. He said the Waiter we were getting was very good. He was correct! The food came out hot and was very good. I had the famous chicken pot pie and my Mom had the meatloaf. It was my first time dining at the Walnut Room. I will definitely go back and have already recommended it to my Cousin.

They were nice and did a good decent job doing their best trying to get us served. It was busy

great place with a nice view of the pier, ideal for a romantic date or business lunch.

We had the mushroom on bread and calamari for appetizers, they were very salty. The cream cheese and bread neutralized the saltiness of the mushrooms. For the calamari, we had to wash it down with the lemon and dip to relieve the saltiness. The soup of the day which was chicken tortilla was also very salty according to husband. The kids steak was great as well as the quesadillas! Seated immediately, service was quick, staff were friendly, ambiance was nice. Great experience overall but should really tone down a bit on the salt.
