At Bivio our passion is authentic Neapolitan pizza. Napoli... our love of the city, its cuisine, and in particular, its pizza is where our story began. We heard time and time again “It’s all about the dough.” True to Neapolitan tradition, and the passion of the pizzaioli, we construct our pizza using “00” flour from Naples, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fior di latte or bufala mozzarella, and sea salt. Our dough is gently mixed using a 28 year old “lieveto madre” (natural yeast culture) then with intense heat is baked in our wood burning il forno. Ah'pizz is a pizza restaurant offering authentic Neapolitan pizza. Many people know a Neapolitan-style pizza when they see one, but don't know what gives its distinctive look and taste. Ah'pizz is more than happy to educate its guests, ensuring diners know exactly why this pizza tastes so good. First, Ah'pizz' red sauce is made with San Marzano tomatoes that have been harvested from the volcanic plains surrounding Mt. Vesuvius. The flour used to make the dough is finely ground imported Italian flour and everything is cooked in an extremely hot wood burning stone oven for no more than ninety seconds.Ah'Pizz menu contains all kinds of classic Italian recipes.     We very much enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Halcyon bistro. My clams on the half shell were excellent briny and served the perfect temperature. My husband‘s salad was bright and very enjoyable. I ordered the appetizer size steamed mussels with pomme frites. But the idea of putting the frites on top of the mussels so that many of them slide into the broth making them gummy and inedible is really not a good idea. It’s really the one criticism I have about the food the other night. Our server was terrific and the ambience was lovely.

    The food was authentic and delicious. Our bartender/server, Bella was so friendly and helpful. We loved the $ 45 wine bottles. The manager Melisha (sorry if it’s incorrect) was so welcoming and great. We will be reaching out to you shortly for another reservation.

    How have we not tried this gem until now? The food and service were absolutely amazing! Started off with the fig crostini, followed by the clams which were both outstanding! It was pasta nite, so we had the spaghetti carbonara and the crab linguini, both fantastic! Everything was paced nicely and not rushed! Genado(?) was an excellent waiter! Will definitely be back, so much deliciousness to choose from!

    We enjoyed an incredible dining experience last night at the Highlawn Pavilion. They are serving sushi now and it was amazing. We met the chef who suggested that we try their shrimp cherviche which had some kind of Korean melon in it and we thought it was absolutley amazing. Our main course was cooked to perfection and the service was outstanding. Friday nights they have music in the bar area and it was so good we were enjoying it at our tables. We highly recommend a visit to this esquisite restaurant with fantastic views of the NY skyline.
