- MMarciGoldSeattle / Eastern Washington •39 reviews4.0Dined on May 23, 2026Our first dining experience at this restaurant's new location in our town of Port Townsend was absolutely delicious. The ambiance, service, food, everything. We dined inside this time, which was quite nice next to a window, but the outside patio looked inviting for next time. Starting with chips, guacamole, and two salsas and jalapeno margaritas (loaded with spice and sliced jalapeños) was a good indication of delicious things to come. I ordered the two-fish taco plate, huge portion, but I ate every bit of it because it tasted so great! We decided to return a few days later to dine in the sun on their beautiful patio on the waterfront and couldn't wait to try something else on their creative menu. First the chips, guacamole, and salsas, along with the jalapeno margaritas. The margaritas this time had less spice and no sliced jalapeños, not quite as tasty. My husband ordered the enchiladas Suizas with pork, absolutely delicious, full of flavor. This time I ordered the rockfish ceviche to compare to my favorite in town at Green Crow. Unfortunately, the ceviche didn't begin to compare; in fact, it didn't even taste like the fish had been cured in lime juice. And I didn't detect any jalapeños, cilantro, or red onion, or any sort of seasoning. The fish even tasted a bit "fishy" which likely would have been remedied with lime juice curing. I think the chef forgot that important step, disappointing. However, we will return, since we suspect this was just a few bugs getting ironed out in their new location and with the menu. We are happy of this marvelous addition to Port Townsend's dining experience.More infoLa Cocina at The Belmont$$$$• Latin American• Port Townsend•4.9
