Restaurants near Paseo Nuevo Shopping Center

We came to the restaurant for the 22 year anniversary specials. Both of our meals were great - Filet Mignon medallions for me and the Salmon for my partner. Server was attentive and very helpful. Always a great experience.

Service was great! We loved our waiter. Food was delicious, especially the Santa Maria BBQ! The tritip melted in your mouth! Bread and spread could have used a couple of more slices of bread for the spreads they gave you. Still delicious, and homemade butter, *chef’s kiss*

Everything about this place is outstanding except for one thing: the sound level. It's deafening. If you want to have a wonderful meal, mostly consisting of delicious food and drink and sharing smiles and a few shouted words now and then, this is the place! If you want to actually have any kind of *conservation*, better be there right when they open, and be quick about it (before it gets busy). Otherwise, you'll need to bring those headsets that folks use in helicopters. Or you can just text each other. Becoming fluent in ASL would also work.

Aside from the exquisitely prepared and presentation of our three shareable dishes, the service received from Liana was top-notch. It’s about time Santa Barbara has a restaurant that raises the bar of a culinary experience without the excessive prices or haughty atmosphere.

Attentive and knowledgeable service. We started with the cauliflower potato-leek bisque and caesar salad. I enjoyed the bisque and my partner enjoyed the Caesar salad but mentioned smaller pieces of lettuce would have been nice. There was a mix up with a main but they were very speedy and accommodating. The coq au vin was a little too acidic and needed some more of the puree but it was very delicious, almost too much meat which is a good thing. My partners salmon was delicious and well prepared. We skipped dessert but they looked great. Overall a wonderful experience and if we lived in Santa Barbara this would be a regular place for us.
