Restaurants near Pomoca

This is our second time in Casa Silva. We went to celebrate my daughters birthday. The food was great, as the first time and the attention was also very good. We shared some entrees (cheese with chorizo and fried calamari) and for the main courses some tacos, pasta and barbacoa. The food and drinks were very good. A couple of comments, the valet parking took too long to return the vehicle, maybe the restaurant can let them know in advance so the car is ready faster. Another point, I had registered in Open Table that we were celebrating my daughters birthday but there was no "special attention" or reference to it. The hostess didn't ask either if we were celebrating, as if there was a disconnect between what i had put in the App and the restaurant.

Great place to eat, drink and have a conversation. The food was cooked to perfection. I only wish I cound order a one person steak. We were offered only options to share… but my guest preferred medium-well vs I preferred medium- rare. They do give you a hot stone to keep cooking as we went for my preference. So my guest had to finish cooking the meat on the hot stone. No big deal for us but some people might be annoyed. The bone marrow, the mushrooms!!!! OMG you have to try them! I also enjoyed having wine by the bottle for many budgets. Some restaurants only offer you high prices but here I appreciate the range of prices and choices. Very important for me: wine was in a cellar, tempererature was perfect… Overall, I will go back anytime I’m in Queretaro. 10/10 from the hostess to the valet.
