The alligator was fried perfectly, the daily special of blackened redfish was so nice in contrast to the cheese grits, and the Oreo cheesecake was the perfect end to the night.More infoCecelia Creole Bistro$$$$• Creole• Baton Rouge•4.8
- JjasonNew Orleans / Louisiana •1 review5.0Dined on May 22, 2026The Saint restaurant was far better the we even expected. It was our 15 year wedding anniversary, and we decided to come here for our dinner. We were greeted by the general manager at the door, followed shortly after by Jim, one of the owners, who happened to be in at the time. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel quite at home. I must say, to their credit, the interior decorating is impeccable. Not pretentious or stuffy... somehow charming and cozy, while still sophisticated. The decor all "goes together" but isn't generic sets that are overly matchy-matchy. Each piece fits the theme with an individual intentionality. Once seated our waiter promptly introduced himself and our orders were soon brought at a timing that was perfect; not too slow, but not rushed. Our waiter, despite having a 10-seat table he was handling, still managed to have full attention to detail and casual fun bits of conversation that added to an already enjoyable evening for me and my wife. For the food; we both had decided prior to coming here that we wanted a steak dinner. Having googled steak restaurants in Baton Rouge and surrounding areas, I'm not exactly sure how we decided on The Saint, as we had not had steak here (or any food) before, or even knew they served it. We had come for cocktails several times on our trips to St. Francisville every couple months. Let me just say... this was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. We got the special of the day, which was a filet covered in a melted blue cheese, on a bed of golden mashed potatoes, topped with lobster claw meat, covered with a butter sauce for what can only be described as "Muah, Perfecto!" Good Lord, now I'm hungry again. Thank you all for a wonderful evening! We will certainly be back!More infoSt Francisville Inn & Restaurant$$$$• American• Saint Francisville•5
