The food and services were excellent. It was a most enjoyable evening.

Happy hour edibles were really good. Had two dozen raw oysters that were great. Ordered the 2nd dozen AFTER the 1st because they worth another go.

From the moment we stepped into Daphne, we were transported — this place is elegant, warm, and effortlessly chic. But what truly elevated our evening was the impeccable service from our server, Terran, who was knowledgeable, attentive, and made fantastic recommendations that turned our meal into something unforgettable. We started with the grilled octopus, and wow — it was tender with the perfect char, dressed with a vibrant herbaceous topping and paired beautifully with a silky puree and a touch of citrus. Every bite was a delight, and the presentation (pictured!) was stunning. Next came the clam pasta, and it was pure perfection. The pasta was al dente, the clams were fresh and juicy, and the broth was so flavorful we nearly asked for bread just to soak up every last drop. And let’s not forget the black truffle pizza — an absolute showstopper. The aroma alone was intoxicating, and the rich, earthy truffle flavor paired with the crisp, wood-fired crust made it one of the best pizzas we’ve had in Toronto. Terran’s warmth, timing, and genuine enthusiasm for the menu made us feel like VIPs. We’ll be back soon, and we’ll definitely be asking for Terran again. Highly recommend Daphne for anyone looking for elevated food, thoughtful service, and an unforgettable night out!
