The story of Mexico Lindo Restaurant begins in the summer of 1984, when entrepreneurs' members of our family migrated from Colombia to Atlanta. Mexico Lindo first opened its doors in Smyrna, Cobb County, just north of Atlanta. Within a few years, one other location was opened in Cobb County merrily because of our success in bringing authentic Mexican dishes to Atlanta area. What came to life was a truly unique dining experience authentic tastes of Mexico and Colombia all in one place. Nearly four decades later, some of our original and most popular dishes are still on the menu. Our award-winning Fajita Nachos are among popular dishes that are still on the menu since day one. Not only has our food surpassed our customers' expectations, but also our amazing Margaritas. Mexico Lindo has been known to have the best margaritas in town, year after year. We are passionate about our made-from-scratch dishes, each one made from the heart.

We know the word "fusion" has been wielded about to justify everything from Hula Burgers to Mexican lasagna. But the East-meets-South brand of fusion happening at Poor Calvin's? It's creative; it's innovative; and it's probably unlike anything you've tasted in the ATL. After working in kitchens around the world, Calvin Phan wanted to shake things up a little. And so, into the mac 'n cheese, the Thai spices went. Now, Calvin's giving Southern staples, like sea bass and fried chicken, a decidedly creative Asian-inspired twist (and a nip of spice, too). He has created innovative dishes, approached in much the same way, leave the hands of Calvin Phan day in and day out. His dedication and attention to detail are evident in each dish and dessert. You won't be disappointed.*Last seating 1 hour before close*

Our server Dan gave fantastic brunch recommendations. We ended up going with the braised short ribs and eggs. It was delicious and very filing. The portion size was excellent. I was also impressed at how I mentioned it was my partners birthday in the reservation and our sever brought out a scoop of icecream and a soft chocolate chip cookie with a candle. That was such a nice touch. I will definitely be going back again.

This is one of my favorites in Atlanta. They have a huge variety of fresh oysters from all over. Our server, Danielle, was amazing. Our favorite appetizer is the hamachi crudo. It’s super fresh with a citrus marinade. It’s delicious. We both got the duck fat swordfish this time. It is absolutely delicious. They serve it with a smoked mushroom with has that nice smoke flavor with the duck fat adds great flavor to the fish. That is definitely our favorite. We have had the tuna and redfish in the past but the swordfish is a must try. They are currently remodeling the front raw bar area, so it may have more to offer soon. Great place.

We had a wonderful dinner with service par excellence from Jasper. Our first time and we will be back. I want everything on the menu. However, the $10 parking fee was not appreciated. I doubt (hope) Little Sparrow was not responsible for that charge. They should at least comp half.
