Restaurants near Squalicum Mall

We love this quirky little spot when we attend an event at the Mt. Baker Theater. The food is delicious!

Outstanding experience at Roe in Bellingham last night. The food, service, atmosphere and mood were exceptional. The scallop crudo was a standout, easily one of the best dishes I've had in recent memory. It was artistically presented, with flavors and textures that were perfectly balanced. The focaccia with serrano ham is another must-try. The airy bread paired with the creamy alfredo sauce created a great contrast. The ham could have starred on its own but perfected the dish. A delicata squash dish was another highlight. This was followed by the gnocchi, which was light and delicate, and the mushrooms added just the right amount of depth and complexity. We ended the meal with the buttermilk tart, which was so good it was almost too hard to share. I've also had the kiwi lime trifle on a previous visit, and it's equally incredible. Don’t skip dessert here. Their wine list, though modest in size, was excellent and thoughtfully curated. As is often the case, we chose to bring a bottle of our own. As I've said before, Roe is a brilliant addition to the Bellingham restaurant scene.

Excellent ambiance and aroma in the restaurant. All of our food was delicious, and we walked away saying that were very happy we ended up at this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. The only thing I would change is not having one of our seats sitting so close to, and facing, the wall. It took away from her ability to enjoy the ambiance.

What an incredible dining experience we had here! The bar manager has curated a list of amazing craft cocktails and the wine list is extensive. We had a hard time picking dinner from the menu since there were so many fantastic options. The service is impeccable and the views are outstanding. We can’t wait to come back.

With their surf and Turk they are running you can’t beat the value !!
