- JJennyGoldNew Orleans / Louisiana •28 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoNeeded a good place for a business dinner, party of three. I heard this was new and hard to get a table, but I was able to get a 515 reservation. It’s super charming. It’s a Haitian influenced menu, but it was more upscale than you might expect. Many of the dishes can be served as shareable instead of main entrées. Our party ordered quite a few few of the items and we liked absolutely everything. The cocktails were also good and we enjoyed the service from Shay. would definitely go back and I understand they have live entertainment on weekends. If the weather is nice, they have patio seating available for walk-ins and it was super cute if the weather cooperates.More infoThe Dunbar$$$$• Global, International• Gainesville•4.9
- DdeborahAtlanta •10 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAmrit Palace in Ocala has been a favorite for years; so we are excited about the new Gainesville location. The ambience is mellow and intimate. Our favorites- samosas, chicken korma, lamb saag, sizzling tandoori -remain delicious. This new location has a full bar- we enjoyed the Indian Shiraz from Sula vineyards . Overall a most delightful dinner!More infoAmrit Palace - Gainesville$$$$• Indian• Gainesville•4.8
- AAndiOrlando / Central Florida East •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI took my family to dinner at Black Prong last night. We were a party of 5. The restaurant ambience is nice, relaxing and relatively quiet. Service was great from the second we were greeted by the hostess to the time we walked out. Very attentive to our needs and very aware of where we were in our conversations/timing of the next course. Water was immediately brought to our table followed by our server getting our drink order. Appetizers came out timely and we were giving time to enjoy them before our entrees were brought out. Everything was cooked perfectly. Everyone at the table had something different and it was all delicious and perfectly cooked. The staff was attentive to our drinks and plates needing to be cleared. The one thing I would suggest was that the tables be positioned a bit better. Our table was tight between a tree and a barrel so the staff had to "squeeze" through to help the tables behind us.More infoBlack Prong Whiskey Bar & Grill$$$$• American• Gainesville•4.9
- PPaulJacksonville / Northeast Florida •16 reviews5.0Dined on May 26, 2026We were celebrating our 47th anniversary and were greeted with bubbly after sitting down. Attentive service and great tasting food. Wine choice by the glass was good with the prices being reasonable. We enjoyed our dinner very much and will definitely be back!More infoPrime & Pearl$$$$• Steakhouse• Gainesville•4.7
- LLindaNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined on May 20, 2026OMG we ate and drank so much but everything was soooo good! The complimentary bread melts in your mouth and the French onion soup had the perfect combination of cheese, onions, bread & broth. Had petite filets with the lyonnaise potatoes while drinking Mumm’s sparkling (my family’s favorite champagne). Finished it off with bread pudding topped with vanilla Hagen Daz ice cream. A wonderful birthday dinner for my husband!More infoMark's Prime Steakhouse and Seafood - Gainesville$$$$• Steakhouse• Gainesville•4.7
