Love having lunch or dinner at Cooper's Hawk! We belong to the wine club, so it's been a great experience tasting different wines. If we don't get a chance to taste, we order a glass of our favorite wine. Food is so delish! As it was my birthday, I received a free a creme brulee and it was excellent! We have lunch or dinner there two or three times a month. We enjoy the staff; they are friendly and patient. We normally sit in the bar as it is not as noisy and easy to converse! Love the decanter placed on our table on special occasions especially for our anniversary. I highly recommend Cooper's Hawk, the best restaurant in Surprise!!

We dropped by for lunch at 1:30 on a Friday and the place was moderately busy. We were promptly seated and we were quickly greeted by our server and he took our orders. He brought us a nice small warm loaf of bread, however once we finished it, it took quite a while for our meals to arrive. We noticed that other tables seemed to be experiencing the same delay. We assumed that they might have been short handed in the kitchen. Once we received our food our server apologized for the delay. The food was great as usual and the service was excellent.

My husband and I and some of our family dined here last night for dinner. This is our 2nd time at this location (once in Tempe), and we love it! The sushi is actually good sushi, and they have some creative rolls that are super delicious, like the Cowgirl!! 🤠 Don’t let the “vegan” section of the menu turn you off. No one in our family is vegan but we loved the Cowgirl so much we ordered more after we wolfed down the first plate 😂 The other vegan ones we like are the Cabbage Crunch and Thai Hippie. Other favorites include: the Crunchy L.A., the Crunchy Red, Hotel Cali, Super Asparagus, and the absolute ⭐️star⭐️ of the meal last night was the Itchy Salmon nigiri 🤤🤤🤤 just go ahead and order 2 plates! The salmon is so fresh and delicious and it’s just such a yummy bite! My aunt also ordered the Aburi Sake Toro nigiri and said it was as delicious as the omakase in CA that she likes! From the share plates section of the menu, we never skip the charred edamame, shishito peppers, and seaweed salad. Drinks are always delicious, and my aunt said her sake flight was amazing. The service is always great! Kaitlin was our server last night and she was such a delight! She knew the menu really well and checked on us several times. The inside is really vibey, not too quiet but not too loud, and the outside patio was a perfect place to dine last night with the warm weather. We will definitely keep coming here for our sushi fix!

It was a very good experience and will be going back again.
