Restaurants near Teatro Heredia

Verona delivered a wonderful dining experience overall. The food was excellent, the service attentive, and the ambiance warm, elegant, and surprisingly charming for what is technically a pizza restaurant. The interior feels far more refined and inviting than one might expect, making for a very enjoyable evening. What I did find somewhat dichotomous, however, was the contrast between the elevated dining experience and the extremely small paper napkins provided. This seems to be somewhat customary in Cartagena, but in a restaurant with such lovely ambiance and presentation, it feels oddly out of place and slightly detracts from the experience. Something as simple as properly sized napkins — or even better, fabric napkins — would elevate the experience even further and better align with the quality of the restaurant overall. *********************************** Verona nos brindó una experiencia gastronómica maravillosa en general. La comida fue excelente, el servicio atento y el ambiente cálido, elegante y sorprendentemente encantador para lo que técnicamente es una pizzería. El interior se siente mucho más refinado y acogedor de lo que uno esperaría, haciendo de la velada una experiencia muy agradable. Lo que sí me pareció un poco contradictorio fue el contraste entre el nivel de la experiencia culinaria y las diminutas servilletas de papel que ofrecen. Parece ser algo bastante común en Cartagena, pero en un restaurante con una ambientación y presentación tan cuidadas, se siente fuera de lugar y resta un poco a la experiencia. Algo tan sencillo como servilletas de mejor tamaño — o mejor aún, de tela — elevaría todavía más la experiencia y estaría más acorde con la calidad general del restaurante.

Luz was absolutely amazing at Ana Restaurante in Cartagena. From the moment we sat down, she was so attentive, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She took the time to talk with us, recommend food and drinks, and made us feel completely comfortable the entire experience. She even took selfies with us and made the night feel personal instead of just another dinner service. Her English was also very good, which made communication easy and added even more to the experience. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and enjoys what she does. Thank you, Luz, for making our visit such a memorable one!

It was recommended by my son as his favorite in his recent visit to Cartagena and he was not wrong. Amazing food . Plenty of choices . Excellent service . Beautiful building .
