WOW!!!!! Mark was our waiter and made our dinner just amazing. He was funny, helped us not order too much food(easy to do here). I think the most special thing was that we had a good amount of food left over and I asked if he could bring me 4 boxes so I could made some dinners for unhoused. Not only did he insist on taking care of that for me but made sure there were utensils and you could feel the care he put into doing that. Management presence was exceptional and the food is THE BEST, my only regret is not having room for chocolate bread pudding.

Wolfgang's near Port Authority is in a great location for arrival and departure from Port Authority as we well as reasonably from Penn Station. Great proximity to theater district too. Food was excellent. Service professional and attentive without rushing or hovering. Restaurant was a bit noisy, but not excessive. Food is pricey even if in line with other restaurants of this caliber, e.g., $75 for a filet mignon and $20 for wedge salad. Our bill for 2 including tip was $400. Not outrageous by NYC standards, but something to know going in. But would definitely do again!

I was admittedly a little nervous about booking a table for 10 at Tony DiNapoli's in the heart of Time Square, because I was treating family from out of town and was worried that the restaurant might be one of those riding off of its location rather than its quality. I needn't have worried! The restaurant interior is just what you'd expect from a nice Italian restaurant, with white tablecloths, pictures around the bench-lined walls and wooden pillars, and warm lighting coming from a number of chandeliers giving a nice, cozy feel. We were promptly seated at a round table in the middle of the restaurant in the thick of things and felt well-taken care of, with attentive service and frequent water refills (it was HOT outside that day). Happily, topping that all off, the food was great, served family style with each dish large enough for 2-3 people. We had fried calamari and meatballs for starters, and then rigatoni bolognese, linguini fra diavolo with shrimp, chicken francese, and caesar salad - all were very well-received, with the linguini fra diavolo with shrimp being a standout with its pleasant and not overwhelming spiciness. Pasta as expected was cooked al dente, and the red sauce for all dishes had a fresh brightness and a bit of sweetness that was delicious. If I absolutely had to pick at something, I'd say maybe the restaurant was a little loud, but that's to be expected for a restaurant at Times Square. Perfect pre-show dinner for a large crowd - just make sure to make reservations beforehand!
