The revamped menu features true “Hawai’i Classics,” which include a strong focus on Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, and Portuguese flavors - the true food of Hawai’i, and the diverse cuisine that Sheldon has become an ambassador for in recent years. The pair also owns and operates Tin Roof in Kahului, where they serve innovative, local lunch-style dishes in take-out bowls.

    We sat at the bar overlooking Kapalua Bay. It was perfection, as was the food and service. Started with Ceviche which was excellent and so fresh, also ordered the crispy Pork Shank and Wok Seared Ahi. Both of these entrees were delicious. Another excellent meal at Merriman’s.

    Our experience was perfect! We brought our two adult daughters with us to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The table was set up where we could see the ocean and watch the sunset! Food was terrific, server was even better! This is our second anniversary in a row we spent there and we plan to come back next year!

    Last day in Hawaii and we wanted to eat within a few miles of the airport. Decided to give 808 in Old Town a try. We had a great time. Food, atmosphere, service and prices were great. The restaurant was quiet while we were there, which we appreciated, but it was early in relation to the typical dinner busy hours. I had the Poke Bowl and my husband enjoyed the Mahi Mahi tacos. We would recommend both dishes and this restaurant.
