Wonderful afternoon for my daughter and I while traveling to Chicago on fall break. The room was beautiful, the service was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed all the little delicacies provided with our tea. The harpist was fabulous!

Alpana is a truly wonderful restaurant in every respect. This is my sixth time there, and every single time, the food has been memorably scrumptious, and even better is the service. Alpana has managed to hire highly professional waitstaff who seem to know how to come to the table at the right times, but they in no way hover around the table. And the restaurant's atmosphere is ideal, at least for me. The tables are not too close together nor are they too spread out, and the interior is beautifully decorated. I have been dining out in the city for 33 years now, and, at present, Alpana is easily my favorite restaurant in Chicago (unquestionably better than the other "A" restaurant down the street!).

Le Colonial in Chicago is a gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The food is amazing, blending traditional Vietnamese and French flavors in each delicious dish. The cozy, ambient atmosphere sets the perfect backdrop for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. Attentive and friendly service adds to the overall charm. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a delightful meal!

From the moment we walked in, we received top notch service. Our waiterJoseph was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The food was as exceptional as the service. We ordered the mini lobster roll appetizer for our table of 6 and were impressed at just how delicious they were. Our party also ordered the crab cake, filet, sea bass sandwich, Caesar salad and all were perfectly prepared. We will go back next time we’re in Chicago and ask for Joseph Patton.

Beatrix is always one of my stand-by restaurant selections. Meeting a colleague from the UK over dinner and this was the perfect spot close to hotels and easy and safe to walk to. Staff is attentive even though this is a bustling location. Food was great -- loaded guac was fantastic, tuna appetizer was also excellent. Decent selection of meat, fish, veggie options.
