Awful experience over all. The food was terrible and the service even worse.
Service was good, food was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return soon!
excellent as always.
Despite good and attentive service, food was mixed bag, ranging from a very good branzino to a very mediocre and tasteless salmon. Server was very accommodating and immediately offered to replace the salmon with another dish. So, overall, great service, good people watching, but maybe go for drinks and then head to Hillstone or Capriccio for dinner.
Always enjoy dining outdoors at Le Zoo. Love their mussels, fries and salmon tartare. Wines by the glass and carafe are expensive which is my only complaint.
Fun, casual chic bistro with a great ambiance! Add in a little shopping before or after at the Bal harbor shops. Also great for lunch.
almost as good as Parc, its sister restaurant in Philadelphia with similar menu, and Parc is awesome.
Clueless waitress and mediocre food very disappointed all the way around.
Best calamari in a long time....and the steak and frittes were very good...also le canard a l"orange
Le Zoo is our favorite place to dine in Miami. Great food, ambiance and our server was the consummate professional and whose personality was wonderful. We love Le Zoo!
Food was very good. Place was very busy and a little chaotic when checking in. Overall service was good and food was delicious. Would go back again
Pretentious with no follow through. Flat iron steak so tough not edible
love the atmosphere , always great food, and seems to be a big party outside! LOL
The food was just ok.
I've visited Le Zoo quite a few times. Last Saturday night was a horrible experience .The service
was awful , the oysters were warm and shucked with shells left in them . Plus one belon oyster
was bad. The hamachi crudo was served warm and under seasoned. The sea bream was served cold
with non existing vegetables. Unfortunately I don't have a nice thing to say about this Stephan Starr
location this visit....
They called me to confirm the reservation. What’s the point of doing it on the app then. The rest perfect. Excelente.
Service not as good as usual
The food was really really good; out waiter was way below par. He didn't seem to understand anything we said (we are English) even though he repeated everything three or four times. We ordered the Moules Frittes without the fries ... he repeated it three times and then came back and said "no fries" but it was served with fries! Service was very slow; we had the salmon which was good but very dry, and ordered carrots as a side but they arrived when we had almost finished our meal, despite asking for them three times. Will we go back ... not sure.
The food at Le Zoo is excellent, very well executed. Great setting and would definitely recommend the bouillabaisse. The service however needs work. Staff are busy and always seem to be running from table to table. No time to focus on the needs of customers. We had a small table for two of us and the plating was quite large. Several staff dropped plates to the table and then also gave an extra plate for shells and another with a sauce. I was left holding two of them and it was up to us to figure out how to make it all fit on the table. Quite silly actually; especially for a total bill of over $200. Still the food and ambience was good so would go back for that.
Muy mala la atención
Always a favorite!
crabmeat w avocado & almond trout & the service were excellent- as always
fun & romantic place to eat
Everyone in our party agreed - LeZoo was wonderful. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Delicious French onion soup - best I’ve had since Paris. Wonderful cool cucumber soup. Also loved the fried calamari. The juicy hamburgers and French fries were prepared to perfection. Highly recommend the Branzino. Will definitely return soon to try more dishes.
The restaurant is nice and cozy and the food is quite good. My friend and I ordered drinks based on gin and both of us felt poisoned the next day. I suppose that something was wrong with the gin they were using for cocktails. For the restaurant with average bill $100 per person this was disappointing.
I was about to give 5 stars but a big minus made me take one star off
I usually order the cocktail Basilic and comes watered down I requested to have the cocktail made it right and he said will give you xtra shot The vodka kettle one is not the best nor expensive I ended up paying $ 31 for my cocktail correctly crafted since they charged me $ 17 which is the price of the watery cocktail and $ 14 for x xtra shot of kettle one They charge you almost double in order to have this cocktail correctly done
I’m sure that that I will never order cocktails here again Too lame
Lovely outdoor seating. Good food.
It was very busy and our server was very overwhelmed. It took 20 minutes to take our order. The food was ok but 3x’s until we got some salt. And she was totally baffled by the payment of the check being 2cards and cash.
I think she must have been new but this is not the kind of nite you want an inexperienced server.
Excelente restaurant Francés
great selection in food always a pleasure to be there
Every things was Good
Loved being there with friends vacationing in Bar Harbor.
Best pate ever!
The service took a long time to get around to us and they sat us in a small table next to some type of wall box where they clearly shouldn’t have had a table. The man next to us complained to the manager that everyone who arrived after him had already received their food yet he had not. I had the mixed greens salad and it did not taste good at all.
Very good food
Great wine selection
We’ll be back
The food could be better. Not much taste. Pastas were soggy, not much taste. The aioli really needs improvement: warm vegetables, warm egg and warm shrimps is how it should be served, NOT cold!!!!! We come from Provence, so we know!!!!! The service was good and the new manager very attentive. Hope to see you next year. B
It is a pleasure having a French bistro serving delicious fare like French Onion Soup, Confit de Canard, Crème Brûlée and combos of shellfish towers. I feel like I’m in France.
Sitting outside under the canopy is delightful. The interior is well done in classic Brasserie style, also an option.
Service could be better more having to do with bus service. Water glasses were difficult to get refilled, as is bread and butter. More time seems to be paid removing dishes from in front of you as soon as you’ve taken your last bite and haven’t yet swallowed.
Other staff, reception, wait staff and manager all seem to be working diligent to make sure it’s a pleasant experience.
We enjoy it, and will continue to go hoping service improves.
Decent food, however with the steep price, one would expect better. The service left much to be desired *cough bread guy cough*. Ambiance is pretty cool though.
Messed up all the orders
