Lincoln Tavern and Restaurant
Built with the intention of being a comfortable meeting spot for locals looking to share stories at the end of their long day, Lincoln draws inspiration from it’s surrounding, hard-working, and uniquely American neighborhood.
Revitalizing a nearly forgotten West Broadway space that at one time housed the area’s only department store, Lincoln feels nostalgic. It’s open-air, tiled-floor cafe, grande bar, and soaring, original tin ceilings remind us of a time when dining halls and supper clubs were a way of life.
Our wine glasses (2 out of 3) were dirty. Other than that we had a nice time and enjoyed it
Great food and varied menu. Within our group we had brussel sprouts, scallops, pizza, burger and salad. All very tasty. The server seemed as though she would rather be elsewhere.Ambiance of the space was also great, able to sit at open window/front area and watched the sidewalk traffic.
Overall experience very disappointing and overrated reviews online. Worst coffee ever (breakfast) and bad customer service... would never go back and would never recommend it either.
Good place for Sunday brunch, away from the overrun hipster places. Like the setting in Southie. Easy to get to. Great menu for kids & teenagers.
Great time and food.
Wow. It was loud. Lots of seniors in college. A lot.
The food was good and the service was pretty decent.
Excellent menu with fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation. Falafel appetizer and the oysters were very delicious when asked for bread I was pleasantly surprised with 2 large pieces of fresh and warm slices !!! So yummy I had to ask for more to eat with my kale salad which was also very tasty with butter milk dressing
The wood grilled salmon was amazing with crispy and great vegetables and lotus chips . When I was looking at the other tables every body’s plate looked beautiful and their pizza also amazing looking . The service was very friendly and not rushed
I wish they had more vegetarian choices so I could go back more often
The only negative comment is the loud noise which made the conversation very difficult to hear
Always love going for the specials they have! Such a fun atmosphere and the food is phenomenal as always.
Main courses arrived before starters had been finished
Food was great service was good.
Lincoln is just one of those places I go to when I know I want a great meal I don’t want to have any doubt that it’s actually going to happen. It doesn’t matter whether it ends or something I’ve had before or whether I’m ordering something new – they just execute.
Brunch test kitchen is one of the best brunches in the city. Always busy but they do a good job getting the food out in a reasonable amount of time. My one comment would be I wish the servers would refill the water, we got one glass at the beginning and then were out.
Wonderful Sunday brunch for Father’s Day!
Great Saturday brunch. Food was fast and tasty. Sat toward the back of restaurant where it was quieter. Highly recommend.
This place BUMPS at 11am on a Sunday - reservations are a must. Food took a little longer than expected to come out but we enjoyed sitting by the open front window people watching and service was fine otherwise. Meals were good - crispy hash browns and biscuits were standouts.
The Lincoln Tavern never disappoints! The menu always has something to offer for every type of diner and every item on the menu tastes GREAT. We started with the evening's special appetizer--a tasty tuna delight! The Chorizo Mussels were absolutely delicious and were served with large pieces of bread to dip into the amazing broth!
Lincoln Tavern never disappoints! Fun, vibrant atmosphere and never a bad meal!! Highly recommended for brunch (any day of the week!), great cocktails and fun atmosphere!
Really yummy brunch. They do test kitchen on Fridays where they sample new items on their menu and it was delicious
Great drinks and food portions
Food was good overall, but the mushroom pizza was a little greasy. I would opt for the sausage pizza next time. We also had brussels sprouts for an appetizer which were great. Drinks were also good, not too strong with good flavor.
Love this place. But waited 30 minutes to be seated even WITH a reservation
Fabulous meal - loves every moment of it
A southie staple. Got drinks and food here with a friend and his gf. Would always recommend this place, but you should have a reservation if it's a weekend!
Family in town and had to take them to Lincoln!
A little loud - hard to hear your friends. Best ceaser salad in Boston!!!
Crowded and noisy, but to be expected on a Friday night. Drinks were almost too strong and took quite awhile to arrive, but food was delicious!
Brunch test kitchen had a fun and refreshing menu with great original dishes
Tacos were flat and the steak avocado salad was bland. Goat cheese dip was great! Service was okay could have been more attentive.
Brunch is amazing! The food is incredible and the wait staff are awesome!
They went above and beyond for us! So generous and so unbelievably kind!
Everyone here always takes such great care of my family and me. We’ve never had a bad experience and we’ve been coming since they opened. It’s one of our favorite places to go in all of Boston. Chelsea, Bridget, Alexis, Lexie, Kayla, Pat, Cara, Reilly, Shandon and so many more are like family to us.
The brunch test kitchen was amazing.. very creative meals that may sound weird but are in fact delicious. The drinks are amazing as well. Casual vibe with big windows, great on a beautiful day.
We tried multiple dishes and all were great. Avocado toast is a must.
AMAZING. Greatest restaurant in south Boston
Great service, fast food, tasty food, and reasonable prices. It does get busy quickly though so reservations are a must.
Great food, awesome drinks. Slightly loud atmosphere
Loud loud loud
Food very good
Lincoln consistently delivers amazing food and service!
