We ate early so the noise level was very tolerable but with band coming into the bar and more guests, there was significant increase in the nose level. Conversation was becoming quite difficult, unfortunately a chronic situation in many restaurants in Montreal. The food was fabulous as was our waitress. Will return with guests, but at 17:30!!

Even though Locale Aurora isn't in the city, I'm so happy to find a fancy brunch spot close to home. The decor and ambience made me feel like I was downtown. The selection looked amazing and you can tell everything is fresh. Our server was super attentive and made great recommendations. He went above and beyond to get us extra plates and new forks even though we didn't request it so we could enjoy both sweet and savory dishes. I'd def come back for brunch and try out their dinner menu too.

Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

Everything, from the staff to the food, was outstanding. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The portion sizes are the perfect size and all of the food we ate was perfectly seasoned and cooked. They have these in house made pickles and pickled rhubarb that are both an absolute must try. My husband and I enjoyed the chefs tasting menu and could not say one negative thing about our dinner, it was delicious! The service was good, never had a dirty plate on our table, water was always full, but there were some long gaps between plates. The restaurant was about half full so we were sure what the delay was. Overall we highly recommend you splurge on the chefs tasting menu.
