As a newly arrived Queenslander this was our first visit to Manly Boathouse Restaurant and were surprised to find car parking spaces available. And the restaurant didn't disappoint. Every staff member was friendly, polite and attentive. We were given the best table in the room and as we had booked early for dinner were able to take advantage of the vista. Although the restaurant was very busy and full our service was swift and our food and drink orders arrived promptly. Between us we had fresh oysters, Morton Bay bug slider, popcorn chicken, garlic sourdough, scallop risotto, barramundi and the fish of the day-snapper in a Thai green curry sauce. All were well presented and tasty. We had a lovely, friendly evening in a welcoming restaurant and will now become regular visitors.

Beautiful spot for some beautiful food on a quiet Monday morning. Honestly couldn't have asked for more. I suspect that the experience would be different on a Saturday or Sunday morning - much louder and busier - but on the Monday it was quiet, you could just make out the sound of the waves crashing outside the windows, and the food was served incredibly quickly.
