We arrived at 1pm on Monday to be greeted by the most friendly front of house / head waiter and barman who were both super friendly. The decor and ambiance were perfect for a quiet birthday lunch. We loved the menu and opted for scallops and shrimps as our starters - we were not disappointed! Followed by a whole bream and fish stew main course which was sent down after we’d asked for a short break - again, our tastebuds were sparkling with happiness. Considering we’d had a very light breakfast, we opted for 4 sides, but the portions were so generous, we could have made do with just 2. Sadly not enough room for dessert, so we shall definitely return and never walk by again with dropping in - even if just for a cocktail. Thoroughly recommended!

Everytime me and my family come here the staff are always friendly and very professional! The food is absolutely delicious and we never expect anything different! The Hawksmoor is the best! That they serve the best steak is a given (we had the porterhouse between 2 of us) but the cocktails are interesting and tasty (full-fat old fashioned with clarified butter anyone?) and the waiting staff are all lovely and attentive (without being hovery). Oh and the sides and desserts are great too. We’ll be back again once we have digested this meal (we probably don’t need to eat for the rest of the week).
