We had a group of 6 and had a wonderful time. I added additional seafood to our Seafood Tower and it was perfect for our table of 6. The service was good to excellent. food was well prepared and the wines we chose were moderately priced. Overall it was a wonderful and perfect place to have our 40th Anniversary Portrait Reveal party. All enjoyed the evening thoroughly. One waiter overheard my wife say she did not like Key Lime Pie, that was brought as a surprise anniversary dessert, and took the initiative to bring her a cheesecake...perfect.

I have been patronizing this establishment since it was Danton's. Eugenes has great food, a great bar and terrific service. I always bring out of towners to Eugene's and make an effort to have business dinners there. I highly recommend for business, romance or getting together with friends.

This food was amazing. When a server talks up the food I try to take it with a grain of salt but Samuel was right. The Chicken is great and the kimchi & collard greens are perfectly spiced. The wood grilled oysters were huge and so tasty. Definitely will go back. I did wish they had a larger beer selection.

We went for a quiet birthday celebration for my husband, who is a gin lover. He ordered one of the cocktails with color changing gin and enjoyed it immensely. I ordered the F.D.M martini made with Citadel gin. It was perfectly made, thick with those almost frozen bits and barely skipped over my tongue. He loved his shrimp cocktail and the Blue Point Oysters I ordered were definitely on "point", as was the horsradish spicy cocktail sauce. He had perfectly seared scallops. He did wish there had been just one more scallop on the plate and I agreed. I had the slow baked salmon. I love to pan sear my salmon, but if I can figure out how to slow bake salmon to buttery, velvety perfection like they did at 1751 Sea & Bar, I may never leave home again. His desert was the Mallory cake, a lemon and sesame sponge cake with loads of great flavor. My desert was the Huckleberry G.O.A.T. a goat cheese and white chocolate cheese cake on a pistachio cookie crust with brambleberry compote on top. It had a slight hint of sweet from the huckleberries. In conclusion, I've heard that 1751 is about to close, but might reopen at some time in the future in a yet to be determined location. Please hurry up and reopen!!!
