So spoilt! 💗 What a God trip! 👏… Seafood is my favourite food! But Japanese is my favourite style of food! And this awesome restaurant just happens to be right in my hotel building! As in we literally go down the lift to reception and walk straight in. Japanese BBQ Buffet for only $55!!!! Absolute score 🏅Quality food and so much variety! If you’re in Sydney at any stage, I highly recommend this place!

We booked on a Wednesday night and it was a fantastic experience. $68 per person for Japanese BBQ with a very good selection of food. On top of the meat like various cuts of beef, there were also nigiri, sashimi (super fresh and highly recommend), salads, chawanmushi (another fantastic side), takoyaki, and desserts such as mango daifuku and soft serve (blend of matcha and vanilla today). Service was prompt and easy (self select on tablet) but the only downside is ventilation not being too good so smoke was everywhere. Overall, well worth the value and we'll be back to try the shabu shabu.

Good quality food and great service. The O-toro sashimi is the best one we had this year so far, the brown mushrooms and pork sausage skewers are tasty, and the Mont Blanc is an absolute killer. Staff are cheerful and approachable. Having said that a few issues to address. Firstly not sure why the Wagyu skewer rather than the sashimi was the first dish to arrive. Also it took long for our beer and drinks to arrive - we almost finished the sashimi and two or three skewers when the drinks finally arrived.

By far the best ramen in Sydney. The menu is very large and you can't fault a dish. Favourites are the Fat Soy always, ask for extra chilli oil and powder to spice it up. The gyoza is also one of the best we've had in Sydney. Fish and beef tataki is great too, fresh and flavoursome. The ambience and seating is very cozy and warm. However, it can be a bit tight as the table widths are on the thinner end.

Had such a great time sampling the omakase menu at Senpai Ramen, Chatswood to celebrate our bday. Each dish was well presented and delectable. If I had to select, my top 3 fav was the chawanmushi followed by the inaniwa (cold udon) and the nigiri Kagoshima A5 wagyu sushi. Really enjoyed the happy hr drinks - the sake shots are delicious! Service was very efficient- cleared drinks and plates away so promptly, only to be provided with the next dish. Definitely very filling. Will love to be back to sample more dishes. Xo
