Absolutely extraordinary experience. It exceeded every expectation and is now our favourite restaurant in the world. The food obviously is exceptional and the restaurant is beautiful and in one of the loveliest parts of London. The team are incredible: so welcoming and friendly. We didn’t want to leave! Exceeds the hype and deserves all the stars!

Clapham
Trinity reopened in October 2015 with the same ethos, culture and team whilst recreating a new and refreshing backdrop - retaining its sophistication and remaining a restaurant of significance in Clapham.
An alfresco dining area accommodates 16 guests, the dining room seating 40 guests that now have a clear view into an open plan kitchen with banquette seating surrounded by the soft hues of jade green and dusty heather pink.
Staying true to his style of cookery, the new menu will focus on Adam’s interpretation of great classics in a relaxed and approachable setting.
The kitchen presents a four course a la carte menu for a set price of £105 for lunch and £155 for dinner. The wine list continues to offer great value with the Chef's Cellar List (just add VAT and corkage), increasing both our quantity and quality and a overall extension to the main wine list of up to 400 bins now on display in the feature wine cellar on the ground floor.

Amazing experience. Genuinely faultless from beginning to end. The drinks, food, ambience and whole experience was exactly what you would hope for from a hospitality venue of this calibre. It is somewhere we have wanted to try for a while, and it more than lived up to expectations.

Having sat in the restaurant seating area a couple of times, this was my first experience dining at the bar. And I loved it. It's obviously better suited to a couple of diners, rather than a larger group, and is a special and intimate way to share food. A dozen mixed oysters, the octopus carpaccio, the baked scallops in the shell, with the roe (which is so refreshing to see), and the dover sole, pan fried meuniere, (I like it still on the bone, but they will de-bone it exquisitely for you if you prefer). The bottle of Rioja to 'wash it down' was superb, as was the pavlova to end what was an absolutely delightful triumph of food, company, service, and ambience. What a beautiful place to eat.

We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon tea. The room is amazing - beautiful and elegant. Service was impeccable. The tea selection is great but be wary there are a couple of selections with an up charge (but our server warned me). The food is amazing and plentiful- we boxed up some of the patisserie. This is a must do if you want a relaxing, elegant, upscale experience in a beautiful setting. And the piano player was fantastic!

Blacklock a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Sunday Roast almost as good as Mum's.

We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times.

Bruce Poole and Nigel Platts-Martin opened Chez Bruce in 1995. From the outset, it was their intention to serve the very best food and drink but within a relaxed, informal yet thoroughly professionally orchestrated environment.
At Chez Bruce we are not particularly into gadgets and tricks in the kitchen. Home-made charcuterie, slow cooked braises, offal, warm and cold salads, classical desserts and bread-making could be listed as specialities. We also take the cheese board very seriously indeed and it forms an integral part of the restaurant's day-to-day life.
The Directors of the restaurant are fanatical wine-lovers and are very proud of the restaurant's wine list which truly is one of the very best in the UK.

I have eaten at this restaurant on and off for over 30 years. It never fails to impress me and my guests. The food is always of the highest quality ( the cod option in main courses is always hard to resist) and decent in quantity. The wine list excellent at all levels and the staff charming, getting the balance spot on between attentiveness and “ leaving you alone “. Always my restaurant of choice for something special.

Balham
The bustling café society vibe of London’s Balham High Road is the perfect setting for relaxed Italian restaurant Ciullõsteria. Friendly and laid back, the Ciullõsteria is inspired by the sun-infused food and chilled out nature of Southern Italy. The Calcagno family, owners of Ciullõsteria, has more than twenty years of experience in the Italian restaurant business, experience that is applied in every last aspect of the Osteria’s running – from the simple, comfortable and unpretentious design of the dining room to the always efficient yet unfailingly friendly service from staff who welcome guests as if they were old friends. But of course at Ciullõsteria it’s really the food that is the main focus. All traditional and completely authentic, Ciullõsteria provides home style Italian cookery ranging from hand made pasta to fresh, crisp twelve inch pizzas, all served with quality wines from the country’s best and most well known vineyards.

Although the location is in the less salubrious part of Balham, it was never the less, a welcoming place, old fashioned Italian service at it's best, friendly and efficient. Preces are eminently fair in this day and age, as were the prices on their wine list. Quality ingredients were used, most dishes hit the mark. Chargrilled tuna, rocket and baby tomatoes were cooked perfectly, as ordered, a dish of mussels and clams, overcooked. When we were asked if all was fine, we told them about the mussels being overcooked and they then offered us a free glasses of wine, nice touch. The pasta is all home made and looked great, we didn't have any of the pasta dishes but the diners next to us testified to theirs being very good indeed. Portions are generous, we skipped dessert.

York
Climb aboard the Countess of York for an afternoon tea like no other. Enjoy delicious savouries and sweet treats crafted with care, as you soak up the atmosphere of the historic carriage set within Station Hall.

Built by the London & South Western Railway in 1907, passengers could enjoy fine dining on services from London’s Waterloo Station to the south coast. The carriage was repurposed during the Second World War as an ambulance carriage. Today it has returned to its original function as a dining carriage, reflecting the rich history of dining on the train.

The Countess of York offers a unique experience and the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. It can also be booked for private dining for up to eight guests in a specially set compartment of the carriage.

A wonderful afternoon tea set on a restored railway carriage within the Station Hall part of the Museum. The food itself was delicious, with sandwiches, cheese tarts, scones and a selection of cakes. There was a decent tea menu too. We were well looked after all afternoon, definitely one to recommend.

A stunning venue in a stunning location, London’s CUT at 45 Park Lane restaurant presents the European debut of world renowned chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck. Set within the glamorous art deco Dorchester Collection hotel 45 Park Lane, CUT at 45 Park Lane restaurant mirrors almost exactly its award winning Beverly Hills counterpart, offering the same mouth watering steak and seafood menu, a similarly well crafted wine list and the same atmosphere of moneyed glamour and laid back sophistication. Surrounded by wood panelling and curtaining, lit by low level lamps and high chandeliers and with curved leather banquettes creating an intimate feel, the dining room is as ideally suited to business as to romance and special occasions. Delfino is a Mayfair institution among Italian restaurants, a family run business since 1953 its the place to go for authentic unpretentious food served in a relaxed atmosphere. For super thin Pizza in Mayfair, you can’t go past this little gem on Mount Street. The kitchen at Delfino also offers a variety of fresh pasta and meat dishes, and favourites include the Fried Arancini rice balls with melting mozzarella, Spaghetti with King Prawns and cherry tomatoes and the signature Delfino Pizza topped with Parma Ham, rucola and Buffalo mozzarella. Set in a grand Victorian building, Delfinos is a buzzy pizzeria that is ideal for pasta with a side order of people watching, and with its convenient proximity to Buckingham Palace and Green Park the place is always filled with an eclectic crowd of local office workers, tourists and mid-shopping-expedition yummy mummies.

Dinner began in the late 90s with Heston Blumenthal’s fascination with historic gastronomy. The savoury ice creams of the late 1800s, the theatre of the Tudor dining experiences and the dishes of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland all resonated with his unique approach to cooking. Dedicated to the modern day discovery and evolution of dining he realised that the excitement and obsession with food is no new modern day phenomena. Together with the team Heston created a menu that takes those discoveries and fascinations of history into a new and evolving modern dining experience. Researching 14th century cookbooks such as those by the royal chefs of King Richard II to Lewis Carroll’s flights of fancy. Working with food historians, tapping into the world of Museums, the British library and the team at King Henry VIII's Hampton Court Palace - from this, the very modern dining experience of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal was born.

Amazing experience! Outstanding service, and provides excellent detail about thought process behind each dish. Excellent taste. Could use a texture. The duck was outstanding. The steak could’ve been a bit more moist and juicy, but was cooked perfectly otherwise. The triple cooked chips were fantastic, especially with the mushroom ketchup.

The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment.
This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery.
The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

Let’s start with the Cured Sea Breem - it was one of the best things that I have ever eaten. And the Smoked Trout is not far behind. Equally good were the Fallow Deer and the Cod, all paired with excellent wines from the extensive wine list. Beyond the food the service was impeccable, as was the setting. One caution - if you can’t get a good time on Open Table call the restaurant directly. We booked on Open Table and it said the only opening was at 6 pm. When we got there the restaurant was empty until after 7 pm and was never full when we were there.

The oldest family run restaurant in London. Spanning 6 decades and three generations, Il Portico Restaurant on Kensington High Street has been cooking regional Italian specialities since it was first opened in the 1960"s by acclaimed chef Pino Chiavarini. Still managed to this day by the same family, siblings James and Francesca draw heavily from their roots, providing simple, authentic Italian food from their home region of Emilia Romagna and beyond. A delightful treat! Cannot fault the food or drinks! Great selection of vegetarian sandwiches and loved the garden themed afternoon tea sweet selection too! We did however have to ask for our scones as the sweet cakes arrived before the scones

Portland opened in 2015 and received a Michelin star the same year - which we have retained to this day. We try to offer the best contemporary example of fine dining in London – the finest produce we can find cooked with precision and a high level of technique led by our executive chef Stuart Andrew and head chef Chris Bassett and his team.

We offer a la carte and also a Tasting Menu at lunch and dinner.

Wine is as important as food and service at Portland. Our main wine list aims to offer brilliant value on interesting, different wines which we hope you seldom see on restaurant wine lists. Our Single Bottle List contains bins of some of the world’s finest wines and also more accessible offerings from our favourite producers.

Apart from the main restaurant, we hope that our private room and its offer of secluded and separate dining is just the thing for special family events or business meetings.

At Restaurant Story the premise is simple; we seek to tell our story through the food we serve.

We opened in April 2013 gaining our first Michelin star only five months after opening and in 2021 we were awarded our second Michelin star. Finally in 2023 we launched Story 3.0 hosting a 2nd floor.

Inspired by chef Tom Sellers’ culinary career and the history of British food, our dishes are an edible story, each one inspired by a memory. We want to share these memories with you through what you see, smell and taste.

To help achieve this, we select only the freshest seasonal British produce and then pair it with an exclusive wine list featuring small wine producers and select British craft ales sourced locally.

Kentish Town
Rossella is the pride and joy of owner and local Kentish Town resident Luca Meola, the result of family tradition dating back decades:

1960: the Meola family opened the first Rossella restaurant in Benevento, Italy, combining products from their family vineyard with their love for food.

1978: Luca’s father moved to the UK, made London his home and opened a trattoria where young Luca learned the ropes and discovered his talent for cooking.

2011: Luca seized the chance to open his own restaurant aged just nineteen, naming it after the original Rossella restaurant in homage to his roots, and was swiftly embraced by the Kentish Town community. Not only linked by name, they share the same family feel, passion for simple classic Italian dishes with fresh ingredients, not to mention wine from the same family vineyard in Benevento!

Fergus Henderson’s original home of “Nose to Tail Eating” opened in a former smokehouse around the corner from Smithfield Market in 1994.

Celebrating the finest of indigenous British produce and making the most of what is seasonally best whilst applying straight forward cooking techniques, St. John is now celebrated as one of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World and in 2009 was awarded its first Michelin Star.

Nose to tail eating means that, where appropriate, every part of the animal should be put to good use in the kitchen and so along with Roast Beef and Lemon Sole, diners will find Rolled Pig’s Spleen, Kidneys and Ox Heart, Liver and Chitterlings as well as the Roast Bone Marrow & Parsley Salad, something of a ‘signature’ dish.

Unique A fantastic experience from start to finish The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday lunchtime on one of the hottest days of the year. Could end the review right there …. We’d travelled from Brighton and Burton on Trent to visit and weren’t disappointed 😀 The menu was really interesting (as per reputation) and all the dishes we ordered were delicious. The service from the staff though really is a stand out also. They clearly believe in this restaurant and were very knowledgeable and passionate about the menu (which is ever changing) and the wines on offer. They were also very warm and welcoming; the epitome of hospitality. Highly recommended

The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

In addition to the food, we offer a meticulously curated wine list and innovative cocktails.
