Incredible experience from beginning to end — I had made a note that my dining partner was visiting from Malaysia and they adorned the table with flowers in the colours of the Malaysian flag and even left a note saying they hoped he’d had a safe trip. Beyond thoughtful. I had no idea they had done this. Beyond that the service and food was beyond reproach and we went on the butchers night so got steak at the butchers price

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast at Cecconi's. The front of house welcome was lovely, showing us to our table and immediately asking about water/tea/coffee orders. However, after this, service was rather poor, the coffees arrived and the waiter didn't request our food order. Only when we had finished our coffee did we manage to get the attention of the waiter to take our food order, we also asked for 2 pots of tea to arrive with the food, but not before. The waiter didn't clear the empty coffee cups at this point. The food arrived promptly, and was exquisite, we really enjoyed our eggs royale, the smoked salmon had a wonderful taste. The tea then arrived when we were half way through eating our main. The tea was lovely though, best cup of tea in London. Furthermore, we sat with empty plates for a long time. We prompted a member of staff for some hot water for the tea pots, and still the table wasn't cleared, the waiter then came back with some hot water, but didn't clear the plates, went to walk off without them and we had to ask for them to be removed. No one came and checked how the food was, nor if there was anything else they could get for us. We got the attention of a waiter and asked for the bill, however, the waiter carried on wiping other tables, before eventually going to get the bill. The food was wonderful, but slightly overshadowed by the lack of service, which was such a shame, especially with paying 13.5% service charge.

Was very excited to dine at Hawksmore guildhall after having a beautiful experience at Hawksmore Air st. However, we were a little underwhelmed, we ordered the prime rib (we mentioned this at least twice while ordering) to go with the roast for 2 but received the chateuxbriand (not a cut we would usually go for in a roast due to the leanness of the meat) we mentioned to the waiter this as we thought maybe we had received another tables meat, however when they came over it was insinuated the there was a lack of communication, rather than a mistake on their behalf. We were happy to go on and not make a fuss but unfortunately when the bill came we realised the chatuex was £90 with no mention of any compensation which left a sour taste in the mouth. Apart from that the meal was very delicious with the stuffing and cauliflower cheese winning the show but the roast potatoes very under par for a British roast (where was the fluffy inside, the crispy outside and the beef dripping flavours or even some rosemary or garlic wouldn’t go amiss. Overall a slightly above average meal.

This place was busy - a good sign to me. Even though it was busy you didn't feel you were shouting to be heard or sat on top of each other. The staff were great, we waited a little longer than anticipated for food but wasn't a big deal because of the staff being attentive. The food was beautiful. Great roast and the stuffing was amazing. The clotted cream ice cream worked really well with the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Will absolutely return

Food we had was excellent. The combination of ingredients and flavours was a treat to the senses. I had the vegetarian options which tasted so good and my guest had the cod loin which she said was an excellent piece of fish. The wine list is very good and the bottle of red we ordered was delicious. We felt the dinning tables were too close together and would have liked a little more space. The service was friendly and cheerful and didn't wait long for your food and drinks.

I had crab ravioli to start and halibut for a main course both were absolutely delicious. The portions were also generous- something I find lets down many restaurants of a similar calibre. The restaurant had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. The service was fantastic- I had booked for my sister’s birthday and even though we were too full to have a dessert, the waiters brought one out with a lit candle for her! About the restaurant
你好, welcome to the Mandarin!

Established in 1961, this traditional and authentic Cantonese restaurant in Blackpool town centre has been extending a warm oriental welcome to customers for 55 years!

Choose from a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee. We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.

The belief that every meal shared should be special is why this restaurant takes time to carefully select and prepare the freshest Chinese dishes, adding just three extra ingredients - quality, experience and time.

Our core belief is that we are a local restaurant, open year round for local residents and visitors to the resort alike. We"ve worked for many years with our local suppliers to continue to bring you the best experience of Chinese food in Blackpool.

Pan-Asian
Blackpool
About the restaurant
Our pan-Asian menu gathers influences of cooking styles from all around Asia; including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. The design of the restaurant is influenced by some of our favourite places to eat and drink, it takes its cues from the street food ‘Hawker’ markets of Penang mixed with the reclaimed building feel of Budapest’s ruin bars. These places both have a magical feel, something that we’ve tried to recreate for the people of Blackpool to enjoy. Penang, Malaysia is an eclectic melting pot of various food styles, with influences from Indonesia, Thailand, India and China, dishes such as soup ramen and stone-baked donburi are two great examples of the depth in flavour, which can be created when different styles come together.

About the restaurant
The Britannia is Richmonds leading independent restaurant and bar.
Located in the centre of town and down a very pretty cobbled alleyway, we are next to historic Richmond Green and two minutes from the Waterside.
We have two large outside spaces - A roof terrace for traditional dining and a garden that lends itself to drinks and lighter fare.
The bar inside is cosy with the bustle of a busy space and the upstairs restaurant tables have white cloths and lamps for a more intimate feel.
Serving Day Boat Fish and Chips to grilled Lobster, Vegan and Vegetarian dishes along with award winning Mackens of Chiswick Steaks, simply the finest food in the area.
Our Wine list has more than a nod to the old world, showing not only the best of Burgundy and Bordeaux but also more eclectic boutique wines from Italy, Spain and even the USA.
We pride ourselves on our cocktails. Vesper Martinis sit alongside Hemingway Daiquiris and a large selection of Spritz for the summer months.

We’re big on warmth, low on fussiness: stripped wood floors, high bar stools, painted brickwork and comfy leather banquettes. Sup your pint beside our polished-oak bar or tuck yourself away in the Snug behind the frosted glass partition. You can hear yourself talk, concentrate on the crossword or nod off quietly in the corner.

To help keep everyone safe, our teams will continue to wear face masks and we'd love you to do the same when nentering and moving around the pub and dining room.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding and we look forward to seeing you.

About the restaurant
The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea.

The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!

Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to.

Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

First time dining here and we were very impressed. Great atmosphere and the decor was lovely. The staff were prompt, efficient and obviously well trained. Our water was constantly topped up without the need to ask. We didnt feel rushed or constantly interrupted with "Is everything OK?" as is often the case nowadays. It was my wifes birthday and there were a couple of sweet little touches that made the evening special. The food was great, very tasty and beautifully presented. We would definitely reccomend.
