P. F. Chang's is known for their selection of freshly caught sushi and Japanese items, and the massive menu at this family-friendly restaurant includes specialties from all across Asia. From the shrimp tempura roll to the ahi poke bowl, which is served with avocado, mango, and seaweed salad, P.F. Chang’s uses hand-rolled techniques to produce high-grade authentic fare. Also check out their Japanese-inspired seafood mains like the miso-glazed salmon served with Asian mushrooms, wok-seared spinach, and bok choy.

With a sleek modern decor and both an al la carte menu and a full course meal menu meant to fill up whole groups of people, Gyu-Kaku is a popular authentic Japanese eatery in the artsy Warehouse District of New Orleans. While the menu focuses on traditional Japanese BBQ items, like the Kobe style Kalbi short rib and the thinly sliced beef tongue, sushi lovers will also be impressed by house special creations like the Tuna Poke nachos and the spicy tuna volcanos, which come served on top of crispy fried rice.

Situated within the massive Hyatt Regency in downtown New Orleans, Vitascope Hall serves a wide-ranging menu that includes New Orleans classics, a raw oyster bar, and a full sushi bar. Vitascope Hall is also an excellent place to try the iconic seafood gumbo that the Big Easy is famous for, and does other local specials like the shrimp po’ boy and the Louisiana sausage platter. When it's time to get some sushi, house specials like the Superdome Roll, where Cajun fried shrimp top a snow crab and avocado stuffed roll, will do the trick nicely.
