Reception at the restaurant was friendly and prompt. We had reserved for a party of 6 through Open Table. After being guided to the (nice) table, we were handed out menu cards; and that was it for a while. Waiter was very friendly, but apparently a bit overloaded (staff shortage, that you find everywhere these days; after we sat down at the table we saw one party after the other was led in. Finally got to order drinks, and after a while also menu. We made the "mistake" to order starters - which obviously set us to the very end of the queue in the kitchen. Startes came pretty quickly, but we waited 45 minutes after finishing the initial bites, before main course was served. The burger were really good, side dishes (fries, salat) as well. We had some of their home-made lemonades, which were tasty, too.
We didn't try wine or drinks; out impression was: wine card was not so attractive; cocktails looked very interesting, there was also a quite good whisky card.
The setting is very attractive - loft style in an old factory building, nicely decorated. Noise level was moderate, and staff was very friendly (although a bit overloaded). Guess we would do that again, when back in Mönchengladbach.
