26/9/2023 - arguably the best and most consistent 5-star restaurant in Montreal and definitely the West Island. I hosted my sister for lunch in the dining room. From start to finish everything was perfect. My sister had the filet mignon on mashed potatoes. She said it was the best steak she ever had. In addition, Rashid who served us was absolutely outstanding In recommendations, kindness, and knowing what to do and when to do it. A true professional and just a great guy who makes you feel very welcome at 40 Westt. I love this place. My sister and I have agreed to make a 40 Westt lunch a must-do every time I come to town. Thank you, Rashid and the entire team. 👍👍🙏

Make this a destination when in Vancouver. Travelling from the UK we were given the place as a must go to, by a Canadian friend and it didn’t disappoint. Great staff, wine list carefully created and the sommelier helped us find the perfect match for our food, and the food was perfect, two of our group had a pasta dish which they raved about, my friend and I had the pork belly special that was cooked perfectly. The ambience is buzzy but not overbearing, people waxing lyrical about the food no doubt. Will return if ever back in Vancouver !

Everything, from the staff to the food, was outstanding. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The portion sizes are the perfect size and all of the food we ate was perfectly seasoned and cooked. They have these in house made pickles and pickled rhubarb that are both an absolute must try. Awesome service and food. Each recommendation by our server rocked. We had the ribeye and the black cod, plus a couple desserts (get the sticky toffee!). The staff were all smiles and ready to help (even with the picture taking). Will be back soon!

My husband and I enjoyed the chefs tasting menu and could not say one negative thing about our dinner, it was delicious! The service was good, never had a dirty plate on our table, water was always full, but there were some long gaps between plates. The restaurant was about half full so we were sure what the delay was. Overall we highly recommend you splurge on the chefs tasting menu.
