Second time dining here and it did not disappoint!!! The food is divine and the only bad thing is that I simply could not eat any more than I already did!! I need to come back so I can tick everything off the menu.

South Yarra
About the restaurant
In case you haven't travelled with us before, let us introduce ourselves. We are a fine dining restaurant located in the heart of South Yarra.

We first opened our doors in 2016, when a then, 22-year-old Charlie Carrington, decided to create a restaurant that changed cuisine every few months. Dubbed the most "Ambitious Restaurant Opening" of the year, Atlas Dining quickly rose to cult status. Within a month, Charlie became the youngest Australian chef to be awarded a Chef's Hat.

Eight years on, and (now) 23 cuisines later, Atlas Dining continues to be one of the most unique restaurants around.

We offer affordable fine dining, but most importantly, an unforgettable experience that helps guests' tastebuds travel the world.

As always, an wonderful experience. Food, drink, service and ambience excellent. The Great Britain menu has some stunning food (and drinks!!!) - although we are still craving some of those tasting plate items from the Spanish menu! But every menu we have attended for has been exceptional. Highly recommended.

It was my first fine dining experience, and this dining made our wedding anniversary truly happy. Each dish was perfectly complemented by the sauces, creating an amazing taste. I tried sake for the first time, and upon the recommendation of the staff, I chose one that introduced me to the diverse aromas of sake. Pairing it with the food made for an enjoyable experience. I would like to thank all the chefs who prepared the dishes and all the servers and staff who provided wonderful service❤️

I always enjoy rengaya. I normally come with 1 other so small group is really good. I came on a table of 5 this time with 1 grill so not enough to cook for everyone and the service was a little slow. We were really hungry until late in the service when we just ordered a lot of cooked food. All wagyu cuts and octopus karaage are very good! It would be good to have 2 grills on a large table, other than that, still very happy with the meal

Before I go to this fine dining I was kinda expecting just a okay experience, but man the surprise! The menu is cleverly well designed to serve from hot food to sushi, with a desert as transition in the middle, ending with fruits and warm tea, a genuinely comfortable finishing. Chef’s attention to details was on point, not only in his preparation of the meal, but also the display of the food. He made sure his food is not only satisfy you in their taste, but also the presentation. I have been to many Michelin restaurants before and I believe Zushi Surry Hill should sit in the 2-Star range, given its quality of food, services, and pricing. Totally worth the price, and will definitely recommend to others if you are looking for Japanese fine dining in Sydney.

Truly some of the finest food and wine I have ever tasted. Was a complete surprise! It’s on a wharf. We sat outside on a perfect starlit night. The noise level IS excessive- but, that is my only complaint. Perfect for a slightly fancy date. The desert was swoon worthy. A peachy/mango lighter than air confection. Duck appetizer was my main course. It was perfection with cherries and fig to boot. I had a chicken liver pate with cherry touches. Amazing. All of the pasta dishes are perfection. Lovely wait staff. Be sure to include a dessert wine

quite simply a delicious meal, one of our lifetime's Top 10 ever. The flavours were exquisite and unique, a mix of delicate and bold. From starters to deserts it was fantastic. Service was both professional and friendly, a rare mix. Like the food ,the drinks menu was interesting and diverse catering across both alcohol and more healthier options. The room had a warm and hip feeling. The perfect place to celebrate, whether a special occasion, good friends or searching out great food
