Special place to celebrate my birthday, and then the new year. Our server, Don was amazing and made incredible recommendations all around for a 1st timer. It had a relatively relaxed ambiance with a view of the ocean. Valet was relatively priced well and service was spot on. Definitely a place to visit if you’re in Cardiff.

Had a great New Year's Day 1:00 p.m. brunch with a couple each of Benedict's and corned beef hashes. The only thing weird was the bloody Mary which seemed like it was just made with vegetable juice, vodka, and lacked flavor. You would think a place like Spencer's would have a signature bloody Mary that would be great, not the case yesterday.

Having been a customer for over 50 years, I appreciated the the new, softer colored walls. I didn't like the smaller tables and how close they were to the next one. We all loved the shared oyster mushroom fritti though at $19, expensive. Whole Foods has fresh oyster mushrooms. My husband loved the cheese cake with berries and is still is still raving about it. The couple at the table loved it too. I ordered what was listed as a butterscotch tart. I make butterscotch and I have no idea what my dessert was. Not butterscotch. Disappointing. But, we will return. Last night a friend was telling me how much she loves the new bar and the bar menu so I will try that soon.

The food here is consistently good. My friend had the French toast and thought it was the best French toast she had ever eaten. I had the farmer's plate and that consisted of two pates, one of chickpeas and the other of chumurra, both delicious. Unfortunately the bread was so hard I couldn't bite into it so I got untoasted bread instead, which was only okay. We will return next month!

First time dining at el chorro and it was a phenomenal experience. The ambiance of the outside patio is great- filled with greenery and beautiful accent lighting and misters. Definitely makes the heat of the night in summer worth it. The food was exceptional. Our server, Phillip, recommended their fresh Chilean sea bass with risotto for the night and it was truly one of the best I’ve ever had. The prime New York was also phenomenal cooked to perfection. Finished off with a delicious apple pie a la mode and some ice cream. Service was amazing. Our server Phillip was very professional, friendly, and attentive- everything we could ask for. Will definitely be dining here again and recommending to others.

We haven’t been to Ophelia’s since before Covid but we missed the experience and we were hopeful that things were still the same. From the warm greeting to the excellent service and extraordinary food, we were reminded why we love this restaurant and consider it one of the best around. While we traveled over an hour from Punta Gorda (which has no shortage of great restaurants) we were thrilled to be back and look forward to returning soon. We have been to Olive and Ivy before and enjoy the whole experience. It is my wife's favorite place so we always use it for a special event. The food is great and our service was very good. We get so comfortable sometimes it's hard to leave. We will be back in the future.

The food is excellent. Portion sizes were generous and the quality was very good. The service was good with the server having very good knowledge of the menu etc. The only mark against the server was she didn't get to our table as we sat finished with our meal waiting at least 15 minutes before she checked on us. Otherwise she was excellent.

Favorite dinner restaurant on the island. Quality food, perfectly prepared; a wide variety of seafood dishes; nice salad to precede the meal and perfectly cooked vegetables with the meal; lovely relaxed ambiance in an upscale restaurant; consistently attentive yet unobtrusive waitstaff. But above all of those positives, one thing: Any seafood item on the menu (and often there are 10-12 of them) can be ordered with ANY of the listed preparations. So whether it's that you have a fondness for certain preparations--blackening; curry; mushroom sauce; bechamel; etc.--or whether it's that you have a favorite fish but can't or prefer not to consume the listed preparation, the chef will accommodate *any* requested pairing. it's like having 80+ dishes to choose among rather than a dozen. Instead of herb-crusted halibut, I ordered the halibut with the bourbon-maple sauce and it was divine.

I really love the atmosphere here and the food used to be very good (I even had my bridal shower here), but the last view times I’ve been here the food just seems tired. The menu hasn’t changed for a long time and there was nothing I was really excited to order (and they ended up being out of the first two things I settled on…). I wish they would update the menu and switch things up a little!

Officially my new favorite restaurant. Obsessed with their commitment to sustainability without sacrificing quality or experience. The menu is extensive and interesting with options for the basic burger eater as well as the self-proclaimed foodie. Cocktails were on point. Portions were perfect and prices are reasonable.
