Massive wooden door, old bricks and rustic beams of Harrisonburg’s old City Produce Exchange building, the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience at The LOCAL Chop & Grill House. Our menu features fresh, hand-selected, LOCAL and seasonal foods prepared with a progressive flair.

    Best restaurant in Harrisonburg no diddy. Loved the atmosphere and our waitress was phenomenal. Food was top tier as well; our waitress explained to us that all food is local and doesn’t contain any sort of chemicals or processing which is great.

    The entrees of salmon and filet of beef were quite good. Our waitress, Rachel, was very personable and efficient. Our only real complaint was trying to find the restaurant. It is not in a standalone building, but rather, is located in an old warehouse type structure with poor signage and limited parking.

    A nice evening out with the Birthday Ladies looking for a nice atmosphere and good food and we found it here at Local Chophouse. The menu is very limited but OH so worth it the food was fantastic. The server was absolutely fantastic as well. I don’t have anything bad to say it was overall amazing! The Ladies definitely enjoyed there experience and were sure glad I found this place.

    Great service. Had our table ready with water before we arrived. Celebrated the birthday with ice cream and a candle. Outstanding dishes delicious. Overall a fabulous experience.
