I have heard nothing but great things about Ludivine, but my experience was underwhelming. We opted for the tasting menu, and although the soup was spicy, it was the best part. The next course was croquettes, and they were two tiny fried balls, that tasted like something you’d find in a frozen snack aisle at the grocery store. After that was roasted half hen. The seasoning and flavor on the hen was delicious, but the white beans were bland and I hate working for my food. The dessert was unfortunately the worst part of all. It was flambé’d bread pudding. There was so much alcohol used on that dessert that did not burn off, it made it inedible and taste like jet fuel. Overall, not worth the $200 price tag for both of us.

We went for our anniversary and while the drinks were great, the food was disappointing. My steak was so overpowered by herbs that I couldn’t even taste the meat, plus it needed salt. The mashed potatoes that came with it were absolutely full of lumps. My wife’s farfalle was creamy, but once again, was bland and needed salt, plus the pasta was undercooked and had that crunch texture when you bit into it. The wait staff was very kind and attentive, but what you really want to remember is the food and unfortunately it left a lot to be desired. We went there because we heard raving reviews and now we don’t understand the hype.

Restaurant has a good vibe and the service was good. Food presentation was also on par. Unfortunately, the food was lackluster: - Steak Tartar is mixed with mustard and house-made diced pickles… the vinegar was overbearing and overtakes the dish. Crostini was old, I was expecting crunchy and fresh not chewy and stale. - Duck breast entree- - the duck was slightly over cooked and sliced into 4 thick pieces, fat on duck was not rendered thus left a chewy fat cap on the duck. The side was topped with truffled-crispy fried carrots… carrots were soggy ( either but cooked enough or not allowed to drain off oil from fryer) and had zero truffle taste or smell( truffle oil I assume). Cocktails, atmosphere and service were all good. Maybe it was just the B-team working the line last night.

It was my 21st birthday! I moved from Oklahoma to Miami FL, but I came here to visit and I was flying out the next day so I went for a birthday dinner here- and got a custom cocktail experience- and the best dinner! Absolutely love this restaurant, and the authenticity from the Oklahoma fields. Moving to a big city I eat at Michelin restaurants all the time and this sincerely was a comparable unique amazing experience! Everything from the unique Oklahoma themed cocktails to the dinners intriguing Oklahoma terroir: truly was amazing!

A little over priced just to look pretty on the plate. Food was very good though. Staff was friendly. Parking - we got lucky. Very minimal parking for the capacity of the restaurant.

Did not feel like I got my moneys worth here. Really expensive to leave hungry. Food tasted okay but definitely not enough if it for $170 for two people. Severely overrated and took two hours to receive all of the courses. Would have been happier at a Texas Roadhouse.

Reading these reviews the place did not look like it was very good. We went to dinner got in and within a few minutes was seated. We did have to wait a little bit before being served, but our whole party was not there yet. Overall the food was good. I got the strip steak. It was undercooked just a little bit so I would get medium if you prefer medium rare. We also got the new item on the menu which was the duck. The duck was delicious and worth the money. The sauce was to die for and children that normally do not like duck loved it. We also got the salad and the dressing was wonderful. I am not sure if I recommend the bone marrow because I have seen such bad reviews on it being undercooked and way to greasy. We have gone here for brunch before though and the wait was forever with hardly anyone in the restaurant. I would recommend going for dinner. They do dinner fabulous. This review is four stars. Ludivine is more of a hit or miss.

We were the first couple seated for Mothers Day dinner and they "lost" our order. Couples on either side of us ordered EXACTLY the same entrees (there was a special Mothers' Day only menu) and received them before us. Then couples on either side of them received their orders before us. The person in charge of organizing the kitchen was barking out orders to the kitchen staff, and you could tell that they all thought he was an idiot. The couples at the tables beside us even apologized to us that they finished their complete meals before we even received our entrees.....amazing. Overall, the Ludiwine team (except the idiot) was trying their best, but it was impossible to overcome the person determining the priorities. I think Ludiwine could be a great restaurant if they could eliminate the one person from their staff.

Inattentive service defined our visit. We did not receive a cocktail menu when seated. Despite being one of the first seatings of the evening, we waited close to ten minutes before our waiter introduced herself and retrieved a menu. She returned to take our food orders before our cocktails arrived, briskly rushing through our starter and entree orders. My young lettuce salad was good and I enjoyed the bread course and steak tartare. Our entrees arrived very quickly and before our second round of drinks. There seemed to be a lack of coordination between the firing of orders and table side service, resulting in the feeling of a rushed meal. The pasta was good though the fettuccine a little chewy. A glass of red was served cold enough to condensate the glass. Though my date didn’t touch the wine, no one made any notice. With only five to six parties, the service was below what I’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

Delicious. We tried their new items. We had lots of delays in seating and service despite the restaurant not being busy. It was pouring rain outside and employees may have been occupied preparing things outdoors to stay safe… but it was unexpected to wait to sit and wait when we had questions or wanted an extra scoop of ice cream for our Brandy ice

I don't normally write reviews but I think this might be the worst restaurant I've ever been to. They tried, but everything was just bad. The salmon dish was "good" at best, but everything else was about a 2 at best. They need to step it up and quickly or they will not be around very long.

This wasn't a wow experience for our group. The food was alright but I expected more with its emphasis on farm to table. The atmosphere is super casual and a bit noisy. Our waitress wasn't the friendliest person around. I doubt I will return.

Pretty disappointed in our service and food last night. There was pretty much no one in the restaurant at all, yet it took forever to get water, little things, etc. The appetizers were great as always and the drinks fantastic- but the pork tenderloin was inedible, genuinely. It was unable to be cut by a knife. It was a beautiful cut of meat and it was so dry and hard. They also told one of our dining members that the fish of the day was a piece of cod- and a piece of salmon covered in butter, not good salmon, came out. The pasta special was fantastic but it was so disappointing. I unfortunately find this restaurant to be incredibly hit or miss which is sad due to cost and innovation of the chef!

We had an outstanding evening at Ludivine. We started with the steak tartare- some of the finest we have eaten- then had the pan seared Arctic cod which was sensational. For dessert, we enjoyed a slice of the flourless chocolate cake. Ludivine will be in our rotation of restaurants and look forward to our next visit. Hopefully, it will be warm enough to dine on their beautiful patio.

Disappointing at best. Soup was good, and the rest of the meal was mediocre. Fresh fish dish was served on cold potatoes and the sauce was overly seasoned and almost bitter from too much lemon. Waiter was attentive, but we had to ask for bread and waited forever for it to appear. Not a good experience.

This spot has potential but needs new leadership. Cute, retro vibe inside. Very eclectic menu. It all went downhill when they seated us at the "chefs kitchen" aka the bar. There's absolutely nothing of interest to see here. This is arguably one of the worst seats in the house. As we sat "watching" them prepare food, I noticed the expeditor not wearing an apron or gloves. Every other person handling food was wearing both. The expeditor, however, was touching his cell phone then touching food. Touching the freezer door and door handle then putting his bare hands in a jar of something and putting it into someone's dish. Wiping his hands on his jeans and then cutting someone's burger in half with his bare hands. Upon coming over and hearing our concerns, she proceeded to essentially make excuses for the lack of sanity food handling procedures. She blamed everything from lack of available staff to him being new and everything in between. She said they ask their food staff to wash their hands every 15 minutes to be safe. Umm...how about you wash them as often as needed to keep your guests safe from cross contamination? In full transparency, her apology included two ginger beer drinks, which we didn't drink. And she offered us a free dessert which we turned down because we didn't want to eat anything else out of that kitchen. We did eat our entrees because the expeditor didn't touch them (we watched). They were good so there is potential here if they could get their food handling safety under control. Ultimately she comped our entire meal. I still felt the need to share this here because other people should be aware of how they handle food before deciding to eat here. And because they didn't seem to really take our concerns seriously (as we were leaving the expeditor still wasn't wearing gloves), it feels like the right thing to do to at least warn others.

The food was delicious as always and the staff attentive. I did not enjoy the high volume music pumped through the speakers. My husband and I, who were sitting across from each other at the two top table could barely hear the other speak. I did not ask them to adjust it. I wish they would self regulate the music volume to match the ambience of a fine dining establishment.

The soup was delicious, the salad was just some lettuce with dressing not impressive and the pasta was delicious as well. We were the only people in the restaurant, yet our server was slow at bringing out our food.
