I would but not for holidays it was not stated that there would be a holiday menu so the food that I actually wanted to try i couldn't
Food was ok and service was good.
Charred Caesar wasn’t very good, steak was tough, good flavor, flourless choc cake was delicious
This was my second visit and my husband’s first. We dined at Lure for Valentines Day. I had requested a booth as there are only a few, but we were seated in the back next to a private party, and it was very loud. We should have asked to be moved but stuck it out. Our food was good, but the rice cake beneath my scallops wasn’t all cooked, so I had some crunchy, uncooked rice. The scallops were outstanding otherwise. The martini glasses barely hold three or four sips, so specialty cocktails are honestly a bit of a ripoff, albeit delicious. I had the Mahalo Y’all, and they were made perfectly. But a change of bar ware would be welcome!
My wife and I were happily surprised by our first-time visit to Lure. How could we have missed this place? Our server was attentive and he had a positive well-informed vibe that set the stage for a relaxing evening. Cocktails were complex and unique, bubbly on tap was brilliant, and the wine selection provided many excellent pairings with the menu. Our food was well presented, had layers of flavor that made our fish selections stand out. Even dessert was deeply satisfying. This is a jewel of a restaurant an we will be back!
Outstanding venue for dinner with clients. Foods was great.
Dinner was delicious, but paying $10.00 for valet is a deterrent for us. It used to be Free plus a rip.
Great birthday celebration 🍾 So nice to enjoy dinner and get to a show. Can’t wait to come back.
John was a great server: Friendly and attentive! The food was fantastic as well! Great brunch - thanks!
Great food. Drinks are also good.
Thought the menu was limited. I had the trout which was okay. My wife had the steak which was a small cut on top of a mound of potatoes.
I have been dining at Lure or years, and have probably eaten there fifty times. Out of all those visits, I only ever have had one disappointing meal, which I take to be an outstanding record. Lure is consistently good and often great. I regard it as a jewel among Midtown restaurants.
Enjoy a nice evening with my wife.
Excellent seafood dinner provided with exceptional service.
Happy hour drink prices a real value. Wonderful atmosphere and staff. Could use improved fish offerings.
The catfish was super fishy and I wonder if it had gone bad - I couldn't finish it. Other courses were good. The wine was very good. Service was good and friendly. The ambience was very good.
Brunch was excellent! We had the Seared Scallops, Clam Chowder, and French Toast. Very pleased and ready to go back. Ramon was an excellent Server!
My experience at Lure was absolutely fantastic. I have been to Lure several times and this last visit was just as great as the past experiences. The service was excellent and the food, was even more stellar. Lure is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta!!! Each and every menu items sounded so delicious that it was hard to choose. Our appetizers, meals, and desserts were AMAZING!!! The service and ambience were excellent as well.
Warm welcome, solicitous service. Delicious food (my trout was more than I could eat; could have used some more skillful boning). Cozy atmosphere, though some tables lit by only a candle might be less than comfortable.
Excellent experience!!! A+
It was a quiet night and relatively early, but the food and service were great. Will definitely return - thanks!
Came here for Sunday brunch, but have been for dinner previously. Both experiences - outstanding!
Shrimp cocktail was so over cooked you could barely bite into the shrimp. Rolls were overdone. Service was mediocre. We love 5th group but this was a miss. Will go to South City next time.
We went to Lure on a Saturday night prior to a play at the Alliance. We arrived at 6pm and after the waiter learned that we were not interested in cocktails, his service was very poor. Although they were not particularly busy at the time, our food did not arrive until about 650 and only after I spoke to a manager. My wife ordered the trout which was a beautifully prepared whole fish that was filleted at the table. The problem was that many, many small bones remained and it was extremely difficult to eat. The other fish dishes were good.
Brunch was very delightful and the perfect portion.
I didn't enjoy my food as I would have expected. It did not have much excitement in the flavor department and the drinks were extremely average. The waitress was awesome and i loved the ambiance
Food was great and the two bartenders were very attentive and knew their menu very well.
Good stuff. Lure is always fantastic. Very personable service with expert menu knowledge. The wine suggestion was perfect, the cocktails the proper size. The fish here is always perfectly and creatively prepared. You have to pay for the good stuff, this isn't Red Lobster. So much nicer and more elegant than that place with the giant trout.
Great first visit to Lure. Was greeted very friendly when we arrived. Patrick was our server. All of his suggestions were spot on - cocktail, appetizers, main course and wine. He was very attentive and helpful. A must try is the grilled octopus lettuce wraps! Also really enjoy the seafood board appetizer. Excellent raw oysters and delicious pan seared sole. We will be back to Lure.
We really like the atmosphere and the outdoor “bubbles” seem pretty cool- guess those are for groups or you have to request them. Felt for the entree prices that they should come with a side. Had read that the catfish was really good and we thought it was ok- wouldn’t order it again. The salmon was good as were the hush puppies. We didn’t particularly liked the dipping sauce but asked for a different sauce and our waiter gladly brought us some. Overall it’s a decent place but will try somewhere different next time we are in Atlanta. PS I admit we are a “foodies” and love great food!
Atmosphere was very nice. Dark, but soft lighting. Our server was great. Food was just ok. We had hush puppies for appetizer, they were fantastic and the best tasting item we had. I had the grilled swordfish, nothing special, not even the taste, just bland. My husband had the catfish. He said it tasted like the river and was mostly batter. For almost $30 an entree I expected more flavor.
I ordered a clam chowder which was cold and poor taste.
Somebody else in our table ordered Gumbo and it was also cold. The waitress was asked to re heat it.
Crab fried rice was incredible. The gluten free options were overwhelmingly good and hard to decide what to choose. I would go back to this one again and again!
We made it known when making the reservation that it was my birthday, but nothing was done to acknowledge that other than a passing comment. Nonetheless, the server was very nice and very attentive....sometimes too much! The sole was exceptional. My drink was tasty but only about four sips in their small martini glasses. This is a pricey place, but food quality is good. We asked for rolls, and they charge $3 for soft dinner rolls from a package! This is ridiculous!
Lure was our pre symphony stop. I’m glad we picked it. The server was informative and attentive. The drinks, excellent as was the appetizer. My main course was fantastic as was dessert. I can’t wait to return.
Always always a great meal. Wonderful chef!! Waiters are exceptional!!
Fish lacked seasoning. Not my favorite place.
