I love this place. They have some of the best seafood in ATL. I tried their BBQ shrimp and it was to die for! Took me back to NOLA for a second. This place is definitely a go to in Mid Town.
Fantastic food and service. Celebrating the wife’s birthday. Look forward to dine there again.
Our second time going to Lure my first being my birthday 2yrs ago. Over time they are still putting out great service, food and maintaining an excellent space. The food introduces you to new experiences with basic fare that at times reminds me of my travels across the globe. Tonight I was impressed by our Server, Tacita who was well versed with the items on the menu to include how they were prepared. In addition she was able to talk about the upcoming local 5k run and solicitation of a possible donation to support the company's Hunger Walk Run 2019 which in turn raises money for the Atlanta community Food Bank. She went one step further based on our inquires to passionately and briefly talk about the sustainability efforts of the company overall. I became a member of Fifth Group (FG) Rewards last night. Well done
Excellent cuisine and ambiance. We will return on our next visit to Atlanta.
We went to Lure for the first time because Ecco was closed for a private event. I couldn’t be happier with our decision to dine at Lure. Everything was spectacular from the amazing service (Amy, I believe), food, and ambiance. I love any bar that makes craft non alcoholic beverages and I had the pear/ginger/honey shrub which was excellent. We had the tuna ceviche, Salmon Belly Crudo, scallop entree, and brussel sprouts as a side. Phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for an excellent meal and for keeping our time constraint into consideration. Highly recommend!
Food was pretty darn good, but the ambiance and service just ok.
One of the best hidden gems in Midtown! The barstaff, managers and servers are all soooo hospitable. Great selection of oysters, wines and a wonderful seafood driven menu.
I’m a tough grader. This place was good but not excellent. The crab dip was a little thin and watery. It didn’t sit on the Cristini well. The flavor was fine. The shrimp appetizer with spices was very good I recommend it. The reason I’m a little down on the place is that the bass Was really very salty. The waitress would’ve gladly replace that if I had said something. The salads are surprisingly good. The menu has a fairly good selection but for a Seafood place I’d expect a couple of more choices. The service was excellent, the waitress was friendly and made me feel that she was here to make the night go well. They have an interesting wine list, with some good middle price choices. Some original bottles were worth a second look. For the middle of Atlanta this was a very relaxing ambience
Love this place !!! Food always perfect !
We will return soon. Great we environment and even better fresh seafood selections.
Our only minor complaint was the kitchen was slow for a restaurant half full. Keep up the great work.
This WAS one of my ATL faves until my last previous experience with the wife, left us wondering if they had lost their MoJo. (Too much salt in everything; including a garden salad). But I rolled the dice, choosing to dine here with a fellow member of my Army Reserve unit for a Sat. dinner. The experience restored my faith in the place. We split a dozen P.I.E. oysters on the half shell, followed by a salad each, and finishing with grilled swordfish (me), & BBQ’ed shrimp (my friend). What a pleasant surprise to have been able to enjoy it all. It didn’t hurt that the bar tender’s selections for my 3 by-the-glass wines were ‘spot-on’ pairing well as the meal progressed. 👍👍
Very good experience.
I was disappointed. The waiter had too many tables all eating on the same schedule. He was inattentive. My fish was way overcooked. Actually came slightly burnt. Carrots were fine. I have recommended this restaurant too many people and I hope that the next time I go back it will be far better than it was this time
Loved the outdoor patio. The Lobster Tamale was not very good. The Tamale was kind of dense and the lobster was overcooked and tough. The shrimp dish was nice and the drinks were good.
Our server, Amy, was delightful. The outside seating was such a nice touch. The food was as good as expected. A very enjoyable evening.
First time there...loved the food, service, & ambiance!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!
Food and service were outstanding! Our go to place!
Dean was a great waiter. So much so that my dad shared his birthday cake with him!
Date night was great. Very romantic. Food was great. Highly recommend
That was the best restaurant in Atlanta among several which I visited during my stay.
Absolutely outstanding. Every entree, appetizer and dessert we tried was exceptional. Erin served us with the best hospitality I’ve had in a while. She was amazing and made perfect recommendations for us. Hands down one of the best restaurants in ATL.
Food was too salty.
Maya our server was outstanding. Great knowledge of the drinks and food. Attentive but not crowding in her approach. Food was excellent and portions were not over done. We were seated in the perfect spot away form the hubbub and could converse and hear each other. Definitely on our return list. This was our first time. Super job 👏👌🏼👍🏼
I can’t believe I have lived in the area for 5 years and have never been to Lure. Looking forward to coming back. The punch bowl was tasty, fun and different. The food was great, a perfect date night place.
Great service and excellent food!
Wonderful dinner! Loved sitting on patio! Service was excellent!
We had a fabulous meal. Kudos to the chefs!
We started at the bar. We were early for our reservation because we walked over from a play at the alliance theater.
The bartender helped us find some great beer & wine to drink.
We were seated at our reservation time. The waitress was helpful in continuing to find things to eat & drink. We ordered appetizers crab dip & fritto misto. They were both delicious. Waitress did not rush us so we took our Time enjoying each item. Two of us had the crab fried rice which was very delicious. The crispy brussels sprouts were to die for. We were sorry we didn’t have enough room for dessert because they sounded wonderful. They were having a family style dinner that they do once a month with a specialty cocktail involved. We look forward to trying that in the future.
The food was not good! If it weren't for Roman's great service all categories would be 1 star. My husband and I were celebrating our 24th wedding anniversary so the fact that the food was awful made the celebration unforgettable. We will not be back!
Our server was good, but it took an unexpected length of time for our meal to come from the kitchen.
Very disappointing meal. We were going to a show and so were tight on time. Service was so slow, taking over 15 minutes before a waiter came to our table, that we did not order the appetizer we wanted, and still it took an hour to get our main courses. My wife’s trout did not taste fresh and was full of bones since the person who deboned it did not do it properly. The only bright point was my sole which was delicious.
The restaurant's service is exceptional... However, they seem to be a bit proud of their oysters @ $4/ea. Surprise, surprise.... as I can't remember paying over $3/oysters for those bivalve mollusks imported from anywhere along the US/Cnd east coast as far as ME, MA or New Brunswick or even west coast oysters from BC, AK or WA. Someone is making a killing at those prices???
Our entrees this time were good, but not great. This may have been our choices though. My date's trout was cooked with head and tail on and delivered tableside to filet. The fishbones remaining after the tableside filet were actually too small to see. My wife spent the entire meal picking bones out of her mouth after every bite. Next time, we will try another option. The chef should have thrown that one back even though it was cooked perfectly, it was too soon to harvest that particular fish! We rarely can go wrong with any choices here, but will definitely try something else next visit.
All in all our meal was excellent and we will be back --
We had a great evening at Lure! The food was delicious and Roman was amazing!
Food was phenomenal! We ordered the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer and the salmon and the scallops for our entrees. The entrees were excellent! Recommend that you get a side as well...unless you go for dessert too 😊
Awesome experience, will be back!
If you eat seafood this is the place for you if you do not like seafood do go here
We've been here 3 times. The service is always great and the food is amazing!
Absolutely amazing food and service. Can’t wait to come back on my next trip to Atlanta.
The food and service was great!
Outstanding service, food, and wine list.
