I had the sole and it was delicious. I will definitely dine again.
The pork and octopus lettuce wraps are always worth returning for!
While food, service and ambience were all excellent we were disappointed that the previously complimentary valet parking now costs $10. We typically go before attending performances at Woodruff Art Center where we pay for parking. So we will likely not return to Lure unless they reinstitute complimentary parking policy.
Excellent service, food and ambiance. I will definitely return
I walked into Lure with no expectations, other than it was recommended by a co-worker. I was pleasantly surprised by the entire dining experience. The calamari was really good! The whole trout was quite delicious as well!
Very delightful, chill
I've had better meals at nicer places for less. It is worth going if you can... its not bad. They just have to pay some really expensive rent. Let the sales people buy lunch there.
My friends and I like this restaurant. Its food is consistently good, the service is good, the atmosphere is pleasant.
The service was great and the food was amazing (the best Brussels Sprouts I've ever had, and the scallops were delicious!). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for great seafood in Midtown.
Wonderful first time experience. Will return!
I would but not for holidays it was not stated that there would be a holiday menu so the food that I actually wanted to try i couldn't
Food was ok and service was good.
Charred Caesar wasn’t very good, steak was tough, good flavor, flourless choc cake was delicious
This was my second visit and my husband’s first. We dined at Lure for Valentines Day. I had requested a booth as there are only a few, but we were seated in the back next to a private party, and it was very loud. We should have asked to be moved but stuck it out. Our food was good, but the rice cake beneath my scallops wasn’t all cooked, so I had some crunchy, uncooked rice. The scallops were outstanding otherwise. The martini glasses barely hold three or four sips, so specialty cocktails are honestly a bit of a ripoff, albeit delicious. I had the Mahalo Y’all, and they were made perfectly. But a change of bar ware would be welcome!
We overheard the manager telling another couple that the pre fixe menu for Valentine’s Day was made known when making the reservation. That wasn’t true for us either. When I made the reservation via OpenTable, it had no mention of the prefixe menu and showed the standard full menu. While we were able to work within the menu for the evening, it was disappointing not to be able to eat from the full regular menu of the restaurant. The steak was undercooked and we sent it back. The second time it still wasn’t quite right but rather than send it back twice we just went with it but it wasn’t enjoyable. The dessert options of passion fruit tart (extremely tart and sour) or chocolate cake was a bit limited.
My wife and I were happily surprised by our first-time visit to Lure. How could we have missed this place? Our server was attentive and he had a positive well-informed vibe that set the stage for a relaxing evening. Cocktails were complex and unique, bubbly on tap was brilliant, and the wine selection provided many excellent pairings with the menu. Our food was well presented, had layers of flavor that made our fish selections stand out. Even dessert was deeply satisfying. This is a jewel of a restaurant an we will be back!
Outstanding venue for dinner with clients. Foods was great.
Dinner was delicious, but paying $10.00 for valet is a deterrent for us. It used to be Free plus a rip.
Service was awful. Food was average. Will not return.
Great birthday celebration 🍾 So nice to enjoy dinner and get to a show. Can’t wait to come back.
John was a great server: Friendly and attentive! The food was fantastic as well! Great brunch - thanks!
Great food. Drinks are also good.
Thought the menu was limited. I had the trout which was okay. My wife had the steak which was a small cut on top of a mound of potatoes.
I have been dining at Lure or years, and have probably eaten there fifty times. Out of all those visits, I only ever have had one disappointing meal, which I take to be an outstanding record. Lure is consistently good and often great. I regard it as a jewel among Midtown restaurants.
Enjoy a nice evening with my wife.
Excellent seafood dinner provided with exceptional service.
Happy hour drink prices a real value. Wonderful atmosphere and staff. Could use improved fish offerings.
The catfish was super fishy and I wonder if it had gone bad - I couldn't finish it. Other courses were good. The wine was very good. Service was good and friendly. The ambience was very good.
Brunch was excellent! We had the Seared Scallops, Clam Chowder, and French Toast. Very pleased and ready to go back. Ramon was an excellent Server!
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta!!! Each and every menu items sounded so delicious that it was hard to choose. Our appetizers, meals, and desserts were AMAZING!!! The service and ambience were excellent as well.
My experience at Lure was absolutely fantastic. I have been to Lure several times and this last visit was just as great as the past experiences. The service was excellent and the food, was even more stellar. Lure is one of the best restaurants in Atlanta.
Warm welcome, solicitous service. Delicious food (my trout was more than I could eat; could have used some more skillful boning). Cozy atmosphere, though some tables lit by only a candle might be less than comfortable.
Excellent experience!!! A+
It was a quiet night and relatively early, but the food and service were great. Will definitely return - thanks!
Came here for Sunday brunch, but have been for dinner previously. Both experiences - outstanding!
Shrimp cocktail was so over cooked you could barely bite into the shrimp. Rolls were overdone. Service was mediocre. We love 5th group but this was a miss. Will go to South City next time.
We went to Lure on a Saturday night prior to a play at the Alliance. We arrived at 6pm and after the waiter learned that we were not interested in cocktails, his service was very poor. Although they were not particularly busy at the time, our food did not arrive until about 650 and only after I spoke to a manager. My wife ordered the trout which was a beautifully prepared whole fish that was filleted at the table. The problem was that many, many small bones remained and it was extremely difficult to eat. The other fish dishes were good.
Brunch was very delightful and the perfect portion.
I didn't enjoy my food as I would have expected. It did not have much excitement in the flavor department and the drinks were extremely average. The waitress was awesome and i loved the ambiance
