Never a disappointment. One of the best restaurants in Boston. I hope they are able to find a new location by August! More

Seafood | Charlestown, Boston

I have not been a big fan of Legal Seafood before but this restaurant was excellent! Our server (Charley) was wonderful- attentive but not intrusive and knowledgeable about the food and wine without being pompous about it. We all ordered fish and appetizers (calamari and mussels). Food was delicious and perfectly prepared. Our only suggestion was to change the tiramisu dessert to have the cherries on the side so as not to compete with the traditional taste. More

Discover Charlestown

Charlestown has a history as a naval hub and sits on the Boston Harbor and the Mystic River. With its roots as a home to Irish immigrants, Charlestown is a great place to find authentic Irish food, like Irish stew or corned beef and cabbage, at one of the local Irish pubs. True to its New England roots and seaside location, Charlestown is also home to a number of restaurants serving fresh seafood. You can head to a raw bar for clams or oysters, enjoy a bowl of New England clam chowder or crack open a freshly caught lobster. You can also cozy up to a cup of coffee and a pastry at a laid-back café or bakery. And along with the prominent Irish influence in Charlestown, you can also find other international cuisines, including French, Italian and Indian.
