We went for Restaurant Week and the menu for this was amazing. It was three courses and for an additional cost you could pair each course with a wine. What a great idea. We has mussels in a tomato sauce which was wonderful. I had the fish and my husband had the beef, very well done. Dessert was a chocolate cake and an almond cake, very tasty. Kudos to our food server Sharon, made us feel welcome and she was very professional. More

Order seems to take an excessive amount of time to get to table. I had ordered the chicken picatta. Had little flavor, potatoes may not be the best choice to pair with this meal. There was an excessive amount of salt in the dish, so much so that some bites tasted of nothing but salt. My guest had the carbonara, this dish also had little flavor. On the other hand the Sausage appetizer was great, lots of flavor. Drink were good. I would return In hopes that it was just an off night. More

Went to lunch with several friends. Initially we sat at the bar. The choices were varied for beer, wine cocktails and the tender was nice and efficient. The menu is inclusive but not endless. We had the lunch special which has got to be the best value in Boston. For 12 dollars a salad and a main course. I had shells which was a large enough portion to take home. Another had a hamburger with fries that was substantial and a Caesar salad. Lastly, one had soup and a spinach salad+ also with leftovers. The food was also EXCELLENT. Lunch was quiet but about 4 pm things got busier. This place is a real find and close to the expressway. Highly recommend More

Discover Dorchester

With Dorchester's close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and its views of Boston Harbor, it comes as no surprise that Dorchester is home to a number of restaurants offering classic New England fare, including clam chowder and lobster rolls. But Dorchester's dining scene goes far beyond traditional dishes. You can find a number of gastropubs that use a variety of ingredients, like fresh sea scallops and clams, in unique and creative ways. You can enjoy a vermicelli bowl at a Vietnamese spot or pair jerk chicken with a tropical drink at a Jamaican restaurant. With Boston being a home to many Cape Verdean immigrants, Dorchester also hosts restaurants offering authentic Cape Verdean dishes, such as fried yucca.
