Catherine was amazing! So attentive and friendly! Highly recommend it
Excellent meal! We will be returning!
The service was amazing. The food was so much and filling and worth the price. Would definitely recommend and We would go back next time we are in Boston !
I had an amazing evening with my kids for dinner
Enjoyed delicious dinner before attending show at Opera House. Staff was great accommodating needs of younger diners in group . Meal was delivered and spaced appropriately so we could relax, yet not rush. Hadn’t been here in years, but hope to go back another time score attending the theatre.
massive restaurant, not at all cozy
Great meal. Terrible service.
We came here before our trip to the theater. Process was easy making a reservation. We were a few minutes late but they held our table for us. Nice ambiance and table settings. Waiter was knowledgeable and gave us enough time to enjoy our meals. Portions were huge! I wish I could have taken mine home with me. Reasonable prices. Would definitely return if in the area again
It was my 7 year anniversary and we were visiting Boston from New York. I had reservations for 8:15pm. The older male host told me to come back in 10 minutes. I came back in 10 minutes, he told me they need more time. I waited by a different middle aged male host until I saw people that arrived after me being seated. I saw the screen and noticed I was being skipped. The two hosts did not communicate nor was I called. I went up to him and told him my name and that I had an 8:15pm reservation. I was then seated at 8:40pm. The meal was okay, the waiter was kind of condescending and rude. I requested to be brought a dessert at the end of my meal reading happy anniversary as I’ve been to the Maggiano’s in different cities and know that they do this. We were not given a dessert at the end nor were we asked if we were there for a special occasion which we were as I noted on open table. Won’t be going back here. Not sure if we were treated this way because of our race/skin color because we are not white. It really was a terrible experience.
Too large and noisy, which would have been fine except our waiter was extremely rushed to the point of being rude, not listening, screwing up the order, etc. Not worth the price in my opinion.
Very nice place for a special celebration!
The desserts were outstanding!
The food and service was wonderful at Maggiano’s. Definitely recommend this place.
Food was great and so wasn’t the service I couldn’t ask for a better experience
Always love Maggianos! Hated our table right in front of the constantly moving kitchen doors! Our waiter was fabulous though.
We were disappointed. It was my mothers 94 birthday and we thought they would have sung or brought her a dessert for her birthday but all that was given was 4 lemon cookies. It was kind of sad for a restaurant with such high reputation to not even given a dessert with a cake with candle or something.
Maggiano’s never disappoints! Consistently great food, service and ambiance. Our group of friends has a get together lunch here twice a year, and we’re already looking forward to December. The waitstaff was most accommodating, and our meals would rival any served in the North End. I highly recommend Maggiano’s!
Great food and not so great server. I highly recommend Maggiano's as if had no other issues here before.
We had a wonderful evening at Maggiano"s before attending a concert. The food was outstanding as well as the service. This is a great place for large family occasions as well as a dinner for two.We have been going here for years.Never disappointed.
Had late lunch with party of 12 - we had a wonderful round table so we could all chat.
Service was fabulous! John was a joy!
Food was great - family style really worked for this group.
We will be back!
PS. We were so excited with the food and the great service that I left my treasures from the Downton Abbey Exhibit. Called and they said they would hold in the manager's office- such nice people!!!
Too close to table next to us and isle. Service slow. Food good. Will not return
We went out as a family of 12 to celebrate a 50th birthday. We ordered from the Family Style menu and had an amazing meal. Plenty of food to feed the entire table, including 4 teenagers. Our server was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, friendly and definitely an experienced professional. He staggered the courses so we had plenty of time to enjoy the food and have conversations. Even though it was a very busy Saturday night, we were not rushed or ever made to feel like we were lingering too long. The teens all agreed they wanted to make Maggiano’s the new tradition for family events.
My wife’s 53 birthday. My server made the WHOLE night. Thank you Miss and Tariq
It was a great experience we were party of nine very accommodating
The cigarette was sweet which we didn't care for. I have the waitress cash, expecting change. She kept it as her tip rather than bringing me back my change.
We were very pleased with our server Tomas
The atmosphere really makes you feel as though you are in an old world italian restaurant. The food is TO DIE FOR. Everything we tasted was delicious!
Daughter came home
Waiter had to be prompted by us when we needed water glasses refilled and asked him to remove bread plates after we were through. Decor is dated. Place seems very touristy. Had been a long time ago. Not sure if I would go back.
Always a great dining experience!!
Excellent lunch - salmon, shrimp fra diavlo and lasagna were all fabulous! Excellent service too!
Another great meal at Maggiano's! Try the mushroom ravioli, it is fantastic!
It was a very busy Sunday evening but our server Brian did an exceptional job. Overall I feel the food was slightly less in quality than I feel is required for my top rating.
Generally a good experience.
Great food and experience!
Delicious! So glad we checked it out! And we’re pleasantly surprised by our bill at end of meal! Our waiter, John, was friendly, and went above make sure we had a good experience! Come hungry; you won’t be disappointed!!
Good food. Very busy place. Portions were big. Service was okay.
The food is amazing, the prices very reasonable and our server Lindsey was so great. She brought Italian cookies out with candles for my sister's birthday, when she found out we were there for a celebration. Nice touch, she did not have to do that. Going back for sure, next time in Boston.
My colleague arrived slightly early and was not allowed to be seated at our reserved table until the whole party had arrived. We were eventually shown to our table by our server who was very rude to us (the hosts of our party) and in front of our guests. He demanded to know when the rest of the party was going to join us (we were 6 out of party of 8 at that point). I explained that we would be joined slightly later by the other two, but that we would proceed with ordering. He became very agitated and said we’d booked the table for 10 and that he’d therefore have to move us to another smaller table. I explained that we had actually booked it for 8 and showed him the booking, but he insisted on moving us (and all of our drinks) to a tiny table that only seated 6. When the other 2 of our party of 8 arrived there was no room for them to sit! Absolutely shocking, rude, unaccommodating service. I might have slightly understood had the restaurant been busy but it wasn’t (it was 4pm, outside of usual dinner hours), and that larger table of 10 we were originally sat on remained empty throughout the following 2 hours(as did most of the other tables in the restaurant.
Very generous with the food which was all good. Festive family style meal.
