   Over two days, went there for cocktails and breakfast. Each time food was very good and service was excellent. Were attentive without being overbearing. Can be hard to get a seat at the bar in the evenings but they sat us in tables in the dining room no problem. G&T menu was a nice surprise. Very good.

   Food was delicious. Did not know that it was the hotel restaurant. Would not have booked it if it said it was in the JW Marriot. Once we arrived we chose to stay for convenience. Food was VERY VERY good. Ambiance...not so great.

   The service was great, the food really wasn't. This is my 3rd time there and I have not been able to eat something worth going back. The salmon was dried and overpriced. There are multiple options downtown with better salads/salmon.

    Good food. More expensive than it needs to be. We got 3 dinner salads, 2 orders of fish tacos, and 2 appetizers. Total was $180 pre-tip. Only good for a business lunch at those prices, but I expect they know that and have priced accordingly. I'm not going there for a lunch I cannot expense.

    Excellent small lunch menu with plenty of variety. Great location in the heart of downtown, walking distance to anything, and decent valet parking as well. Tastefully decorated and excellent personable service.

    It was great to find an open restaurant in Houston after 9 PM… The menu looks good but it is not so well prepared. Pasta was far harder than Al dente, shrimps overcooked… the waitress was not kind, correct but not nice.

    This is a great option. Good food. Good location. For some reason, however, it takes a long time to get seated (ie no one at the host stand) and a long time for your waiter to come by for your order. I’ve eaten here several times. This isn’t a new problem. I don’t know if it’s due to poor staffing or inattentiveness. Once you’re seated and have seen a waiter, service is smooth without any delays. They really need to work on that front end transition. Love the food and the atmosphere. Absolutely will come back.

    Overall slow service and overpriced and not the food. There were just a lot of weird fee added to the bill. If the service had been good, then I wouldn’t mind. But overall the worst dining experience I’ve had in a while. The chef was easily the brightest aspect of our visit and cheers to him.

    Each of us ordered a different entree (two of whom were pescatarians) and shared appetizers. Food preparation nevertheless, she was a delight and very professional! We experienced a perfect dinner fraught with awesome ambiance.

    I took my friend for birthday lunch and we really enjoyed our food. The burger was very good and we loved the gourmet grilled cheese. Fries were crispy and hot. The server was friendly. Prices are high, but it's a hotel, so not surprised.

    Main Kitchen was fantastic! Four of us enjoyed lunch there. We started with the guac (so good and spicy), and we got the Soba noodles salad, the Taco salad, the Turkey Panini and the Grilled Cheese, and everyone loved their dish. Two of the people with us were celebrating birthdays and they brought out full pieces of their cheesecake, pecan bar and chocolate layered something. They were all fantastic and such a nice touch. Loved our lunch!
