Contemporary American | Camden, Maine

Our winter evening visit to the Hartstone Inn was absolutely lovely. The dining room is small, the service was very personal and professional and the food was sublime - flavors and textures blending beautifully. The menu is not large, but the offerings cover lots of food groups. Check it out online, and if you see something you like, don't wait! The flavors and preparation belie the tiny Inn's footprint in town. Go, enjoy! We plan to go back as soon as we can. More

Discover Camden

Camden is sits along the rocky coast of Maine, and its dining scene reflects Camden's history as a fishing town. Camden boasts a bustling harbor and, true to its location in the heart of Maine, Camden has many opportunities to enjoy fresh seafood. You can enjoy lobster prepared in a variety of ways, including whole boiled lobster, lobster pies, lobster ravioli and even lobster quesadillas. You can also try scallops, fried or raw clams and, of course, New England clam chowder. If you are in the mood for some international flavor, then you can eat French-inspired cuisine at a Victorian inn or enjoy traditional Italian in a modern atmosphere. For an after dinner treat, Camden offers homemade ice cream shops and bakeries offering fresh pastries.
