    Over the many years that we have been going to the Mission Inn Restaurants, we have seen many changes in menu and a large increase in prices. This year, however, it was particularly noted that the drink prices increased while the quality and size of that drink reduced substantially.

    A great experience available all day for your breakfast, lunch or dinner needs. Great food and service in a wonderful atmosphere within the Mission Inn, Riverside. Always a stop when visiting the Mission Inn for a night or two.

    I have previously always enjoyed the brunch at the Mission Inn. However, this time on 1/5/25 it was terrible. The food was less than mediocre. It was not fresh and hot. They usually have eggs benedict, but on this day they advised us that they had "egg Mac Muffins" instead. I can't make this stuff up. At least they should have said egg, and sausage sandwich. The wait staff was less than average. But, since you have to pre-pay and they include a "20%" gratuity, there is no motivation to be exceptional. When the price is $95 per person and there were 5 of us, I expect exceptional. The table settings did not include a teaspoon only a knife and a fork. When we asked for teaspoons for coffee, we were given soup spoons. I would understand if they were extremely busy and having a hard time keeping up on clean silverware, but they weren't. I honestly don't know why we had to even have a reservation, and certainly we should not have had to prepay as they were that slow. For such a beautiful hotel, we were very disappointed with the brunch. The Christmas decorations were stunning.

    We had a very nice dining experience. We sat in the outdoor dining area so we could enjoy the holiday lights. The server was amazing. The food was very good. I had the grilled chicken, it was very moist and the potatoes and vegetables were perfect.
