Cuisine is modern European with a strong Italian influence reflecting Angela’s heritage with a totally flexible menu where guests may choose anything from 1 course to their own tasting menu.
Best ingredients but minute portions, menu confusing, couldn't have 2 courses chosen although no indication on the menu about this. Lighting poor , can understand why but people reading menu by torch on their phone ! Overall disappointing. Very expensive for what we had. Been elsewhere and had better.
Came for lunch on Saturday. The food was just exceptional, flavours and presentation amazing. All the staff were attentive, informative on all the food and wine and made us feel relaxed and very welcome. Well done to all at Murano made our special occasion more special.
Wonderful meal and superb service. Very welcoming atmosphere, beautiful decor and fresh flowers a lovely touch. We will be back for more.
The staff were very friendly and the food was just fantastic
Really enjoyable lunch. Service and food were excellent. Nice wine too. It’s not cheap but it is a Michelin star restaurant in Mayfair so no surprises. The experience made it worthwhile
The execution of the dishes would seemingly be without parallel - beautifully presented and absolutely brimming with flavour. Interesting contrasts on the plate too, hard vs soft, hot vs tepid, sweet vs sour - adding excitement to the palate. Blessedly, portion sizes are fairly modest overall - the 'size' being rather more in the intensity of the flavourings within the dish itself - perfect. One doesn't leave Murano feeling absolutely sated, but with a sense of having eaten memorably - and at at top level. An experience that is more than the sum of its constituent parts. Wine mark-ups are a bit 'heroic', however - slightly embarrassing when, like me, one is a professional wine educator (inter alia) and had a good idea of the intrinsic bottle price.
Don't go unless you are a local or a know someone. We are tourists and were given a really really lousy table.
Absolutely if you are looking for a intimate meal that isn't stuffy and want to be made to feel special
A great time, friendly staff and amazing food at a reasonable price
I went to Murano for lunch on a Thursday. I chose the set lunch menu. The food was excellent, the service great, and the interior beautiful. I can only recommend this place.
impeccable food, very attentive service,
.....but a set business lunch for two, with no alcohol, should not normally come to £135
Great lunch, fantastic staff, food was awesome, ambiance relaxed.
Food wonderful, service attentive without being intrusive. A most enjoyable evening.
Have to confess to being a little disappointed with the food. Couple of delicious courses, but also a couple of totally forgettable ones. Lacked flavour and seasoning if I'm honest. Won't be rushing back I'm afraid.
Lovely restaurant with excellent service and exceptional food. A great experience.
A very expensive, very small lunch. The food was beautifully cooked and nicely presented, but minute portions ,especially for the price we paid! No ambience ,very simple place.
Wow what a fantastic restaurant. Went with my wife for our anniversary. The food is outstanding. We've been to quite a few high end Michelin Starred restaurants and Murano is right up there with the best of them. Staff were attentive and friendly. Well worth a visit
First class and delicious food. But the service was just so wonderful that whatever the food was like we would have loved the meal.
We had a very pleasant evening. Great food and willing service in a relaxed atmosphere.
Overall was a decent meal however when you pay £800 between 6 you’re expecting something a bit special and to be honest the food didn’t blow me away. My starters of Quail and the risotto were solid 8/10’s but my lamb main was over cooked and chewy which shouldn’t be happening at this level. The service and setting was excellent but at the end of the day the value for money wasn’t there.
Excellent menu and food. Little dessert as recognition of a wedding anniversary greatly appreciated
Booked Murano for my wife's birthday lunch. Arrived early and was seated straight away, not very busy. We went for the set lunch menu, which was excellent. Washed down with a bottle of white wine. I am always shocked at the prices of wine in restaurants. A nice touch was a small birthday cake that arrived. Overall, excellent meal and we would return
Very nice welcome although we were early. We decided to have gin and tonics outside which was great as it was a sunny day. The service was excellent and attentive. We had the set lunch and decided to have cheese as the cheeseboard looked so good. It was a treat for my friend's birthday and she had a piece of figue tart with Happy birthday written on the plate. It was a nice touch as it was delicious, the pastry was buttery, melting in your mouth. Thank you for making our lunch memorable
Fantastic meal, delicious food, great service!
Impeccable service and really tasty food. The staff were so friendly, I could almost come back just to meet them.
Our high expectations of the quality of food/service/ambience were all met
It's me second time and my husband's fourth. This is his favourite restaurant, so it was the obvious choice to treat him to lunch here for his birthday. Everything about the experience was extraordinary and we're already looking forward to the next visit.
The restaurant as a whole was excellent and both my husband and I agree that we would definitely return. The staff were all very friendly and the service felt personalised rather than robotic, the food was delicious, and as it was my husbands birthday the restaurant had arranged a token dessert be sent to our table. The only thing that was lacking was a bit of atmosphere upon arrival. Whilst at our table, we were eating, drinking and chatting, however as there was no music playing in the restaurant, the atmosphere felt a little stilted. Other than that excellent, and would definitely recommend.
Really nice food and service and I do recommend . I will be there soon again
the only reason for the 4 star not 5 (given every individual rating was 5) was I sent an email to the restaurant prior to booking and never received a response, quite rude!!
The soufflé is amazing yet like air!
Excellent service, food and table setting. Delicious
The August menu is a great deal at Murano lots of options for delicious food the apricot soufflé is a star but everything was excellent beautifully presented good service throughout
Wine expensive having just been in Italy but recommended and we will probably be back
Every bite was delicious. No crazy combinations, just seriously good food. More about pleasing the palate than showing off.
Excellent and creative food. Good wine list with very reasonably priced selections. Friendly and helpful staff.
The August offer is very good value and I would highly recommend!
Everything about this restaurant is excellent, service, wine, food and ambiance. We always eat here for lunch when we are down in London and consider it a treat. Looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely lunch from the summer menu. A meal to remember
Great food and service
Excellent meal last night at Murano. The food was as good as we have enjoyed anywhere in the world. Extensive wine list with a top notch sommelier on staff for recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will return to Murano when next we are in London.
