I had burnt ends sandwich and it is soooo good. Only a couple things off, fries a little too salty this time, plus we have dave's ultimate burger b4 and it was double stack and $11, this time we ordered it was $12 and only one burger, we were told double stack only at lunch?? The manager had suggested Fore Street in downtown Portland to other diners for other nights; we had been there and though it was good, enjoyed this more. It was a classical white tablecloth dinner with attentive service. Our neighbors thought the oysters too briny, which seemed a good thing to me. Our meals were very good. The breading on the Cod was something to emulate; my Haddock with pickled beets was delicious. We had just come down from Cape Elizabeth and were happy to find so good a meal away from Portland.
