- MMarkWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoBirthday dinner with my wife: Thursday night 7:15pm reservations, we were seated around 7:35pm or so. Even on a Thursday evening, the restaurant seemed at capacity, and without a reservation you likely wouldn't get a table (although the bar was available). We had the olive fougasse, fire-roasted broccolini, heirloom carrots, bucatini alla carbonara, and roasted lemon chicken. All was fantastic, but we really want to recommend the carrots and lemon chicken. Seriously, the carrots were an experience in themselves. The hosts and servers were professional and knowledgeable. Our main server Alexis was exemplary among them, with on-point recommendations. The ambience was modern, tasteful, and classy. However, the noise level increased as the evening went on, making conversation difficult -- particularly after a loud party arrived at the bar across from our table. It still want enough to detract from our overall impression. We both recommend - a top-notch gem of a restaurant with reasonable prices for upscale fare.More infoItalian Graffiti$$$$• Italian• Downtown•4.5

Both were great. I got the Verde breakfast sandwich which was awesome but the potatoes were a major let down compared to all the other food. As for the drinks, well, our server must be new cause she never checked back on us. She was nice but didn't seem to know what was fully going on.More infoIvy & Varley$$$$• American• Downtown•4.4
