Bar / Restaurant ZUID is in the heart of South. ZUID is the second home of chef and owner Michiel van der Eerde. Long a go he fell in love with this spot, then the first nightshop of Amsterdam. With Zuid Michiel brings back his passion for food to South. We know evenings don’t allways go as planed. It’s common for a drink at our bar to end in a dinner at our restaurant. Say yourself, those are the best evenings, right!?.Lunch, drinks, a single dish or a 5 course chefs menu. Restaurant / Bar ZUID is for everyone, allways…

Mangia Pizza, in Amsterdam, crafts contemporary Italian pizzas and side dishes with passion in its charming and welcoming restaurant. The insalata di rucola with arugula, parmesan, tomatoes and walnuts and the salumi misti plate with regular salami, spicy salami and Parma ham make tantalizing starters. Some of Mangia Pizza's most popular Neapolitan-style pizzas include the la primavera topped with grilled zucchini, mozzarella tomatoes and basil, the capricciosa with salami, ham, artichokes and black olives and the Napoli with anchovies, capers, oregano and mozzarella, all of which are ideal with a glass of one of Mangia Pizza's many wine selections. For a sweet end to your meal, enjoy homemade desserts such as the citrusy torta a limone or the decadent and fudgy chocolate brownie.

Discover Stadionbuurt

Though the 1928 Olympic Games were held in Stadionbuurt—and you can still see the stadium—that’s not what inspired the area’s name. It was actually named after the National Stadium, built in 1914. A nice example of Amsterdam’s ecological ingenuity is beautiful Schinkeleilanden park, which has a uniquely harmonious and natural design, and is perfect for bike rides and sunny strolls. This suburban neighborhood is very popular amongst expats, who make up a large part of its population, so there’s good variety in the dining options available here.
