Always a great meal! Sushi is fresh and service is attentive and efficient. Love this place!
It's always great to return to Nectar. It never disappoints. The Menu offers a great variety of choices and the food is always excellent. Service was good, despite a busy Saturday night and surprisingly the noise level was bearable.
We introduced our out-of towners to the restaurant and they loved it.
Inventive presentation, palette pleasing cuisine and great ambiance add to a wonderful dining experience.
Food was amazing!! Dessert was awesome. You have to try the Vietnamese beef sliders.
The room was full and we had to talk loudly to hear each other. One friend ordered the short ribs and they were very fatty and in part, difficult to chew. We told the waiter (who was very attentive and good) but nothing was done to compensate my friend for a pricey but lousy dish. The brussels sprouts were fantastic and my other friend loved her pad thai.
We had a wonderful lunch on Friday. The food was outstanding as was the service. We both had pad Thai, one chicken and one shrimp. We had the sake flight and we both enjoyed the selections.
Everything was good. But they overbooked for Valentine's Day my girlfriend and I had to wait about 30 minutes before getting seated
Valentines dinner was extremely Overbooked - about an hour pass our reservation time, no where to sit while waiting, no room to even stand, service was terrible and unfriendly probably bc they were running around and had no time to give attention, which made an unfriendly environment. Never again
What great food and ambiance; especially in the burbs. LOVE valet service so no hassle parking, particularly beneficial when it’s cold & wet. Great date night and wonderful bar for drinks & a bite (get the edamame dumplings - amazing!!!)
Loved it! My girlfriend and I went here and everything was delicious! We got the Dim Sum bento box for 2 as well as the vegetable fried rice with a fried egg on top. The atmosphere was really cool with lots of warm undertones and it was noisy but simply because it was valentine’s day and Nectar was a popular choice (for good reason too). Our server was very kind and the place was filled but not crowded- we had plenty of elbow room- yet this is a definite reservation type of place it would be difficult to simply walk in. It was above my pay ability since we are minors so we’ll definitely be back but likely for another special circumstance. We had a wonderful time!
Always amazing!! Perfect drinks, fantastic food and even better atmosphere. My favorite place.
Had an awesome Valentine's dinner. Our server was excellent and guided us through the menu selections and made great recommendations. We started with the crispy octopus and grilled foie gras sushi. We had filet with chiles and a chicken and shrimp dish with veggies as our main course. We also shared shrimp pad thai which we love. We shared a great bottle of wine too.
The day before Valentine's Day is our favorite day to go! The oysters and sushi were so good. The cocktails are ingenious. We've never had anything bad, everything on the menu is amazing.
Fabulous dinner and tasty cocktails.
Would recommend to anyone.
Great Ambiance! Attentive, Knowledgeable, and Caring Staff! Edamame Dumplings, Fried Rice, and Warm Cinnamon Waffle were all absolutely scrumptious. A bit costly, but worth it. Will definitely return!
Date night was pretty darn good!
The food is really just fantastic. Had the chicken pad Thai and the moo shu pork. Very loud but you can still talk with your table mates.
Beautiful atmosphere but it doesn't make up for somewhat overpriced sushi with indifferent service...
We sat upstairs in the back and it would have been less noisy except for the people at the next table... otherwise, good drinks, great food and service and a lively atmosphere...also we had two birthdays and the dessert was delicious!
Always a great experience!
It was too noise.
Had lunch with a date. Our waiter was no where to be seen throughout particularly when needed. In the end I had to get up and ask the concierge to find our check.
In fairness, Nectar is a fine restaurant and this was first service issue in about 5 dinners.
However, the absence of our waiter in my experience near epic.
We come all the time and love the food. Have never had a bad meal. Aries was a great server.
Birthday. Food was fabulous
Dismissive waiter. Uncooked Steak. waited 15 min to gave first course cleared then way too long for entrees. Table was next to the bar. Patrons were rude and loud.
I had high expectations from the reviews but the food was average and expensive.
Don’t come for sushi. It is mediocre at best. Maybe the prepared dishes are better? Overpriced for the quality of sushi you get.
I enjoy my experience at Nectar with regard to the food and service. My only complaint is the club style music they play during the dinner hour. It is so loud with a large, repetitive beat that really spoils the whole ambiance when you're trying to have a nice (expensive) dinner. I know they want their bar scene to attract a younger, late crowd but it's the middle-age to older clientele that is spending the money and eating dinner there. I wish they could try some smooth jazz or other instrumental music that is more pleasing during dinner.
Our server was great, I don't know much about sake; she asked us our wine preference and chose the perfect sake for us. It was my fiance's birthday and our first time going to Nectar and we were pleasantly surprised by a delicious torte for dessert. We will definitely go back.
Love going to Nectar. Was very cold in the dining area though and food was served warm. Not hot.
Great service and food keep us going back year o er year.
We have always enjoyed Nectar. Not so much now. Food was way below their normal standards. Calamari tasted like rubber. A lobster dish for $45 was way over priced and had little to no taste. The rib eye was unusually fatty. The best part of the meal was the lobster fried rice. Our server was friendly but very busy and not as attentive as he should have been.
Excellent service-even brought a birthday cake to celebrate my guest ‘s special day.
First, I requested a special table. They offered horrible tables and we finally settled on a table upstairs. The service was average at best. Not at all what we are accustomed to at this restaurant. My husband ordered a second drink. After waiting 20 minutes I flagged down our waiter to inquire. Apparently never ordered. The food was excellent as always, but I have to say, I was surprised at the poor service. Hopefully this was just a off night. I doubt if we will go there again for a special occasion.
We had a perfect dining experience
The hostess’ were great
Awesome server !
Had the salmon/avocado sushi as an appetizer and we both ordered the striped bass entree
Wonderful experience including the friendly valet guys as always a nice evening
Can’t wait to return
Followed by mini doughnuts and drinks
I had not been here is several years and I will not wait that long again! Tuna tartare and sushi are super fresh and the rack of lamb sea bass were excellent. Great atmosphere and service.
Awesome! Awesome!! A++ Get the edamame dumplings. Promise you won’t regret it!!
New Year’s Eve
We went for dinner on New Years Eve and the service was absolutely outstanding as well as the food! Our entrees were a bit slow coming out from the kitchen which is to be expected on a night like that if you’re realistic, but we didn’t even notice that was the case until our server apologized because we were having such a great time. It was so nice to not be rushed and to be able to enjoy our time together in such a beautiful restaurant. Everyone from the hostess to the bartenders to the girl who took our coats were warm and friendly. A great experience from the moment we walked in until we left.
We will definitely be back for our next date night or special occasion!
