Enjoyed our dinner by the fire in the cosy dining room on a chilly Friday night. It was busy (fortunately we had booked) but service ran smoothly and food arrived quickly. Always enjoy dining here.

Our table was inside out of the cold. Beer enjoyed by husband and I quite liked the ginger beer ( although I usually have white wine ). Hamburger was delicious and fresh and my mushroom pizza could not be faulted. Wonderful.

Stunning location rich in history. From the entry onto the property to the service, the food and the amenities especially if your travelling or visiting with children make a great day out!. As we sit inside the restaurant viewing through the large glass wall to wall doors, Heritage trees with great canopy coverage and garden beds provided an added outdoor area for kids kicking a footy around and active toddlers adjacent to the our door playground with a sandpit and digger. Outside dinning under the veranda or umbrella area with close proximity to the play ground. The service was just amazing catering to food allergies with ease, difficult picky toddlers, growing teenage boys to senile elderly parents. Incredibly patient, very receptive and only to happy to help. Any question was answer with a wealth of food and wine knowledge. We really loved being able to see the kitchen and watching the chefs prepare own food. The mother's Day menu was top tier, with such an array of choices. Everything was hand and home made; The quality and freshness of the food was outstanding worthy of a Michelin Star!

Ava is divine! This hidden gem is not to be missed, worth the picturesque drive from anywhere - outstanding attention to detail, warm and knowledgeable hosts, stunning decor and food and wine simply exquisite! Thank you, can't wait to return.
