- FFionaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHave visited the Jolly Fisherman on several occasions and it never disappoints. The menu is outstanding, the service terrific and it has a great ambience whether outside on a sunny day or sitting by the log fie on a winter's evening. On this occasion our party of six had the Captain's Corner to ourselves in the bar area. It was very cosy and we were able to relax with our dog (who enjoyed his own 'Sunday Roast' doggy treats) . The menu has plenty of variety, the Sunday roasts hearty and delicious and the fish pie wonderful. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend. Many thanks.More infoJolly Fisherman at CrasterPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Craster•4.7
- IIanLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe French Quarter remains one of the top three restaurants in Newcastle. A warm, welcoming atmosphere and knowledgeable, friendly staff are the first impression one receives. Food is exquisitely presented and a comprehensive wine list compliments the experience. I find that I frequently do not have enough superlatives to describe The French Quarter, a 'must go' for food lovers and foodies alike.More infoThe French QuarterPrice: Expensive• French• Newcastle upon Tyne•4.8

- HHelenLondon •3 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoGreat food and cocktails, all delicious and beautifully presented. 2/3 course menu had some interesting options with additional upgrades offered. Service fabulous - friendly and efficient. My only slightly negative experience of the night was the table location - sandwiched tightly between the toilet door & the front desk we were bumped by people squeezing through on a few occasions.More infoNo. 59 Restaurant @ Townhouse MorpethPrice: Expensive• British• Morpeth•4.9
